Game balance hypocrisy
The change to Spiderwoman under the guise of being beneficial to us is a very hypocritical and unnecessary change.
Kabam has created a very difficult challenge for themselves, which they are not handling well.
Any change Kabam makes to any champion for any reason now has to go through the filter of Bullseye, Enchantress, Serpent, and Dark Phoenix. Since those champions are allowed to exist as they are, Kabam needs to have a DAMN good reason for changing any other champ in a negative way.
Kabam, you have created minibosses wrapped up in a champion skin and let them run loose and wreck people's enjoyment of this game for way too long. Any change that even slightly nerf or tunes down a champion's ability that isn't one of those 4 will immediately be met with scrutiny and negative backlash, and you have to know this.

I have nothing new to say that the ones above (if you're sorting by oldest) or below (if you're sorting by newest) have said.
It's a very hypocritical and unnecessary change. That being said, I'm still taking mine to R4, but I'm now less happy about it.

This champion balance update takes far too long, almost every end game player has her r3/r4 by now. Are we supposed to just hold off on rankups for months and not compete in BGs for you to make these updates?

May be you (Kabam) should do more testing or don’t wait 6 whole months ( when everyone upgraded the champ) to release this BS. Where serp and bullseye was “ fine” .

fr their are worse defenders than her why is she only getting a nerf this kinda removes part of her utility not being able to counter evade which most modern champs counter

Make no mistake about it. This is an attacking nerf dressed up as a defensive one. Kabam don't nerf defenders...ever. You think dark pheonix is gong to be anything over than "performing how we would expect" next month?
What kabam don't like is op attackers. And spiderwomans ensnare meant that she could take champs like serpent and dark pheonix with the right rng luck on the ability fail. And kabam can't have that.
Also, the comment about not wanting to release too many strong defender in quick succession is laughable to the point they have to be just trolling us

Every single decision they make shows how out of touch they are with the community. They are obviously lying about the reason as well.

She’s a staple in my AW attack team as node 12 path 3 seems to be the number one placement for Enchantress. This node has counter strike - combat power and sixth sense - 50% chance to autoblock all light and medium attacks. Ensnare allowed me to sometimes bypass the auto lock, not a lot, but enough for me to get to a bar of power and use it before the counter strike node shuts me down completely. Now without ensnare, I’ll be lucky to get a medium or light hit in. Kabam tried to downplay the effect saying that spider woman doesn’t have a need to counter evade, but that’s not all ensnare did, the 30% AAR Reduction is a HUGE deal. More so than the anti-evade. That debuff alone was literally the sole reason I R3’d her as I don’t see many other options for that annoying enchantress fight. They just made her absolutely useless on one of the hardest fights in AW. This isn’t a “rebalancing” this is a major nerf. Completely removing a 30% reduction in AAR is not cool. I’m so over this game, been playing for 10 years and lately I just feel like my times been coming to an end. This last “rebalancing” seems to be a good cue for my exit.
