Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
Yo, I faced a modder, can I get a +2 instead of -16 like this alliance mate of a Kabam employee?

Re: How Much fun are you having playing MCOC?
When I've opened up 10 Titans since the champion rollover and pulled:
Red Hulk, Gentle, Falcon, Red Hulk, Galan, Okoye, Galan, Falcon, Red Hulk, and today Spider-Man Supreme...
No. I'm not having any fun.

Re: Solvarch Deep Dive is out
They say the deep dives take too much money to make. Some dude with an hour of capcut experience could make the same video for free.
Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
The damage was already done, during his whole climb of VT, and up to 400ish points in GC, probably in AW as well.. most likely have more than 10 people reporting him before this, it took a coincidental pop in a CCP livestream to get banned. I think that's a bigger problem than saving a few peoole in the upper part of GC.I don't think banning a player prevents Kabam from investigating how the player did what they did. They still have the past matches, why would they need future ones at the expense of the playerbase? Judging by Crashed's comment that he bans modders after he faces them, I don't think the time at which they were banned is a factor in helping Kabam get to the bottom of anything. And if it can prevent more damage, then its clearly the better option. The goal should be to figure out how on earth that guy managed to get where he was undetected by the "anti cheat" system. Not shooting first and investigating after. Because obviously he didn't just cheat that match.I respectfully disagree. I think the goal should be minimizing harm. All of those steps would be pointless since a Kabam employee knew the person was modding with certainty. Do you also think that if a Kabam employee faced a modder, that after the match instead of banning the modder to minimize any more harm they could cause, that they should instead report them and let the modder continue to cause harm until they do get banned through the "proper channels?"Not really sure I understand your point.I dunno where you guys are from but a police officer in plain clothes gotta identify himself and also have jurisdiction in the place of the crime...This isn't a case of the police being called and arriving quicker to the folks they favor. This is a case of the police being present when the crime is happening and doing their jobs. Completely different scenario. It's cool that Lagacy didn't get screwed over by this lowlife cheater.Yeah I mean, I'm happy that Lags got saved and the cheater got banned.
But why can't Kabam now go back and delete the lost points for everyone else who got screwed over by this cheater?
It literally took these Kabam bros 30 seconds to move the wheels of justice for Lagacy.
They must've been parkouring across the office trying to help their broski.
But why does that mean we also have to be happy with a clearcut case of selective enforcement?
I've seen this on nextdoor/facebook when I used to still go on those sites.
The police would respond immediately to a robbery at a rich person's house, and other people would say, why do they never respond like that when we call about intruders in our homes.
And then some frequent commenters would always say stuff like: "Shut up and just be glad the police caught the robbers this time."
What's even crazier is that these frequent commenters weren't even affiliated with the police department in any way, and the police itself would never try to defend its actions like that.
At the end of the day, the facts here speak for themselves, and I'm seeing this being talked about in various other channels.
So everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there is no need for me or anyone else to keep posting the same opinions again and again, so I'm out on this one.
Anyway we are talking about a game where cheaters went as far as shipping devices for merc services...
I guess this is just another story ...
The course of the ban should have taken the natural course that everyone goes thru, report, investigate, ban. That's just my opinion though.
I think the thing a lot of you don't realize is that banning that modder right then and there didn't just help Lagacy, but all the future people that modder would have faced until they got banned from a report.
The harm was already done to 20 or 30 people before Lagacy, to other game modes where he acquired items. What's a few more cheated matches gonna do anyway? "Collecting more data" to figure out how the mod is going undetected by the "anti cheat technology" seems like a smarter route.
