Anyone else miss having information?
Cyber deals are coming and the banquet is around the corner. After the roller coaster of these events in 2023 and 2024 (a dud banquet in 2023, followed by a banquet that far outperformed cyber weekend in 2024) we have almost no information on these to allow an informed decision for where to spend money and/or units.
And we haven’t had a new progression title in about two years, after getting TB/P/V roughly 18 months apart. There are valiants with 2 rank 3’s and there are valiants with 20 rank 4’s. Our roster needs are completely different and the only place to actually address that is by grabbing more radiance, because there’s very little difference between a top-500 alliance and a top-2500 alliance.
Do y’all miss the days where we’d get a forum post with a big table announcing upcoming store changes? Or a new progression title with store changes?

A thought crossed my mind as I was testing VtD at r2 today. The relic is obviously not a statcast so I wondered if they released it as a battlecast instead and well, so they did
A few months ago when statcast relics were first announced there were a good chunk of threads claiming Kabam was probably planning on just discontinuing battlecasts permanently and sticking to statcasts only due to the complexity when it came to designing battlecasts. They took a lot of time and work to design because they essentially added stuff to certain champ's kits whereas statcasts are way way simpler, all they do is boost stats.
What I'm getting to here is that battlecasts might not be done for after all, this might be a test or a glimpse into what the future might hold for battlecasts. Exact same concept just a different approach, every battlecast will target one champ and one champ only instead of multiple ones, effectively eliminating the complexity that came with having to design relics around multiple kits. If this is the direction they're taking battlecasts in then I'm all for it, the one thing I will however beg Kabam to not do is monetize them because that would be a very dumb decision.

There's actually way more info about Banquet and Cyber ahead of time than ever before, with the sole intention to create informed decisions on where to spend resources.
Historically, these events have not had information released before the day of the sale.
