The young whippersnappers out there might say that you are "confused AFOK".

To the question at hand, the only interest I have is whatever they give us in game to celebrate. I will pay zero attention to what's actually happening.

Honestly, and I hate to be drab, the biggest competitor for the brawl I want to see is the AI.

I want to see how it functions.

The mode just isn't fun for me anymore, as I can't go a single match without multiple malfunctions in gameplay.

While I see it happen to streamers on occasion, it's nowhere near to the extent that I see it.

So, I am extremely curious to see how that factors into the tourney, the overall results. Because after all the publicity and fanfare, I am under the suspicion that the game will run incredibly smoothly.

And I'll be rather upset that the game's quality can be addressed, but is only done so dependent upon user and occasion.

As for AFOK, it's whatever. Not very interested.

I really don't care at all. I never cared about these types of "events", especially in MCOC, last time looked so under…what s the word, cheap. Like a stage play in the neighborhood for the kids to watch, not the big-ass event they tried to convince us it was, a make-believe e-sport something.

Making the barrier to entry 100 units was a mistake. Who tf is gonna burn 100 units on this when unit costs keep increasing throughout the game?

It needs two more things (that they haven't said are already in progress) to get to a good spot:

Reduced attack values and/or heal on swap (or at least every 3 fights)

Nodes that more broadly benefit the given class or additional nodes that give an alternate route to the beneficial nodes.

In addition to the changes of removing the classic difficulty requirement and allowing players to choose their difficulty, which they have said are coming, if they can do those two things it will be in a pretty good spot.

You can get a legend title now. You just have to complete all the 10th Anniversary Carina Challenges.

They're trying to bribe players that quit to come back and enjoy the fruit of the problems they create.

this is why, when I was in high school, I didn’t go to any parties. No one was ever going to accuse me of any third party nonsense if I never went to the first or second.

It would be bad taste if it was related to the competitive aspect of the game mode at all.

Just because it is related to BGs it doesnt mean that it has anything to do with it. The event are milestones for playing matches, win or lose you get an X or Y amount of points. Like i said before, if they want to use the "competitive argument" and avoid farming, losing should give 0 points.
