It probably isn't as bad as it seems. You may not need a bunch of power gains if you can refresh your buffs with the striker instead of the SP3, for example. A couple furies and precisions, plus a regen buff and you're set.

I have both ranked up. I prefer bastion in bgs or war because with jack you want to intercept and the ai is so garbage that it makes that playstyle more dangerous than it has to be but both are amazing

How is this a small step in the right direction tho? Creating relics instead of buffing trash champs? Eventually they will start selling those meaning we won’t have access to such buffs unless we pay money or wait for official release. If this really is how they plan to address buffs in the future there is a very small chance all of them will come with a realm event

II'm actually scare that this might be Kabam new direction.

Why "buff" a champ that people aready got, when you can sell them a "Relic" to buff their champs. Then they have to chase resource to rank up to things, champ and relic.

This Cosmic Egg might be a test run from Kabam.

In reality, you need to be Valiant to be able to level up beyond 60. You need access to refined XP which is 1k times the value of regular XP, but only Valiants can get it. If you're not Valiant, you won't be leveling up anytime soon.

These players are just farming points

I wouldn't hold your breath on the Tuning -

1: The Kabam team see Power Control as a hugely powerful ability; so tend to give all Power Control champions pillow-fists.

2: The official Tuning announcement says

This is a quite easy to replicate example.

Daily supply quest. Intentionally brought Cycolps and Sinister to show the bug.

First fight used Cyclops, regularly gained a charge with him. Second fight used Sinister, also regularly gain a (science) charge. The bug happens after this. Third fight used cyclops, got a charge with him and somehow the bug is created, because on the fourth fight I used Sinister vs Juggernaut: he has now 1 persistent charge, so counting the 3 random genetic codes he should fight Juggs with 4 total genetic codes, right? Wrong, he has 5.

Personal theory, the bug generated one is one of the Mystics, given the oppenent is Juggs… more testing needed

super short synopsis- doesn’t answer the big cosmic defenders or really many meta defenders at all. Cashing out SP2 makes you re-ramp everything. Big yellow numbers and SP3 rotations for vanilla defenders….. not exactly exciting
