1. We release new Statcasts with new Shards
   
2. We don't release more Relics
   

Relic materials have always had their own reward budget and never took away from anything else.

If relics never took away from anything else, the rewards for BGs for over 2 years were worse than I thought they were.

Any one that spent $100 buying a Reliquary that genuinely thought they would be able to use them on Statcasts is a fool.

The Reliquary comes with 7 items.

Units, as per the usual Odin - bonus gold...

And then 5 relic-based materials.
4 out of 5 of these Relic items can be used on Statcast Relics.

We found out today that 4/5 items can be used on Statcast, see how time is a very important part of the equation?

Yes, and Radiance fixed the problem of the poor Battlegrounds Rewards, which you pointed out.
Why are we pretending like Relics were the only rewards in Battlegrounds for 2 years?

Are you seriously asking me to criticize objetively? You are the company man trying to push the story of fixing BG rewards that were criticized by a lot players with Radiance that was introduced 2 months ago. How is that objectively from your side?

Do you think anybody would have bought the reliquary deal had thet known this? Do you think they would have used 4/5 mats on relics instead of saving them for statcasts?
Can you objectively answer those questions as a former player and not an employee?

Radiance, quite literally, fixed the main issue about Battlegrounds rewards.

Do I think anybody would have bought a relic deal consisting of 3,000+ units and 2>3 gems that can be used on the new relics? Yes.

I understand you're upset that Statcasts are using different Shard sources, but you're funneling your anger in the wrong direction.
