Re: You have to be kidding me - Side Quest Edition
It is standard.I lost an entry becaise I wanted to switch out a couple champs and try some of my new ones. I prefer the quests where we don't lose the entry unless we complete it. I'm all for Kabam trying different things for SQ, but I think the format for consuming whatever the entry resource is should at least be consistent in that respect.Yeh you’d think this would be kind of standard practice now

Entry keys are not returned (quest 1), but gate keys are (quest 2).
Re: Photon vs lotan
She doesn't need the dupe. I also used Photon twice on my exploration. I used Count Nefaria for the other one for fun as he's also really effective for this fight.Oh I thought it was just five debuffs in general but thanks for the help @Vendemiaire how would u say the fight was with photon was it easy does she need to be duped for fight cuz I got her rank 3 undupedSo I have a question photons synergy with Mr negative says she becomes resistant to degen per debuff on opponent so with 5 debuffs so she should be fully resistant I just wanna know does this work against lotan has anyone tried it if lemme know if it works before I go into the fightTake not that the synergy is 'Unique' debuff. So to gain 100%, you need 5 unique debuffs.
Suppression (1st Medium), Energy Vulnerability (3rd Light), Sunder (Heavy), Overload (SP1), Taunt (SP2)
It's easy to actually maintain at least 3 of them, so that's already 60%. It will definitely help against the degen. I brought Mr. Negative for my Photon during this fight, too.
The fight is relatively easy as long as you know what you need to do to gain Smite Charge (this one depends on the position of the storm) and how to remove Desecration per phase.
It is definitely one of the best boss fights out there. Enjoy!

Re: Photon vs lotan
Life transfer isn't technically classified as degen. It's actually direct damage but it shares the same symbol
Re: You have to be kidding me - Side Quest Edition
I mean, idk why anyone would ever bother with anything less than their top available progression difficulty. Personally it makes zero sense. Again, that's just me though. It's been that way for months. Why would it have changed all of a sudden? The last side quest didn’t have 2 instances. I’ve always hated this format of side quest. The “get the keys here” to “unlock the gates” here. They usually give us an extra in case something like that happens tho.
Just thought it would be logical for the quest with 4 gates to be run 4 times…that kinda seems like it makes sense

Re: This is definitely one of the worst everest content such a disappointment but not surprised.
God forbid kabam actually releases content meant for the top 1% of the game once in a while. After all, they pay the bills so the rest of us can play for free. When's the last time kabam released content only the 1% could do?Could you be so kind to let me know what would the 1% do with the "Special" WoF Selector?
If they have enough champs ranked up to get thus content done, they will for sure already have all of the champs from that selector.
So essentially Kabam create a content for the 1% with the rewards that mean very little to the 1%....interesting.
WOF shows how MCOC is losing the Core Aspects of Video Games
If I had to consolidate all of the criticisms of WOF, and more generally, the evolution of MCOC to this point, I think it all falls under a feeling that MCOC is slowly losing all of the aspects that provide an enjoyable gaming experience.
Specifically, I would identify the core aspects that make a game good as creativity and the freedom to play in your own unique way. Obviously, these things have been very stripped from MCOC recently. WOF is the best example of this, as the counters needed are so specific that it completely diminishes the players ability to be creative and have fun discovering new ways of doing content.
I think it all kind of originated with Battlegrounds (which I do believe has done some good things for the game), when they started creating defenders that only had a few counters. To have a good battlegrounds deck, you can't really just rank champs you like, you have to focus on very specific counters and defenders. The idea is the same with WOF, where the specificity is just so intense. Unless you want to remain a mid-game player forever, you have to mostly stop playing the game the way you want to, which is literally the biggest way that games die.
I just hate, and I think most of you can agree with me, that we have been forced to play this game exactly how Kabam wants us to, and not how we--the players--want to. This problem is not new, but WOF has clearly pushed it to a point that literally everyone can see it, and nobody likes it. Just let me rank the champs I want and make content where no matter how you play the game, you can enjoy it--WOF is not that at all.
I love this game, please stop killing it Kabam, just let us be innovative again!

Re: 7* Thor rags
Thor Ragnarok does not exist as a 7 Star and is not getting buffed
Re: This is definitely one of the worst everest content such a disappointment but not surprised.
Anybody else besides me regretting giving positive feedback on Gauntlet type quest? I feel they are over doing it by now.
Follow up question.
If most of the content has been like this, is there a point on investing time on creating synergies?
