Not with the new champs who punish critical hits like gentle and Zola. Not worth it at all anymore

It's generally not a great mastery.

But actually @Ragnaruk5178 you've managed to choose one of the very few champions where Pure Skill actually does something useful: Zola doesn't punish crits, he basically ignores them by reducing the critical penetration of his opponent by 80%. Serpent does the same mechanic, by 60%

But, Pure Skill lets you boost your Critical penetration back up again. So, Pure Skill (at high rank) lets Skill champions partly compensate for one of Zola's defenses.

I wouldn't recommend running it ordinarily; but if there's an Epoch of Pain-type challenge with a beefy Zola, then it would be worth putting into your Mastery load out, if there's a challenge to defeat him with a Skill champion.

Hate on me if you want, but I'm not a fan of this format. We've won both Wars so far, but I don't care for amped up fights that are end-game level. Not every aspect of the game needs to be 20-minute Fights. Personal opinion.

Not a fan of this format either but the fights aren't anything different than normal aw fights as long as you bring counters that utilise the force charges.

We've found in the majority of fights they're actually done quicker than in normal aw style.

I just spent 30 minutes taking down a Thing on Prowess. Meh. Lol

Whom did you use? Was it the nullify, prevent with AAR etc?

Poor planning on my part. I used Herc. He's immune to Nullify either way so options are limited.

The nodes actually very helpful if you play into it. Fights go faster than normal AW fights.

Now that I look into it, Thing is a very tricky placement on that fight. You'll need a tech that can invalidate prowess like Iron Man or someone who can apply Cowardice

So Sentinel also works well on that specific fight. Or Omega Sentinel. Very good option
