honestly I’m about to stop playing. Seeing what happened today and everything they are going towards they just flipped the entire community on its head and some are just oblivious to it. So now instead of enjoying ranking up who I want to or someone I like to play as or that will help my alliance war wise or content for myself now kabam dictates to me by prestige who I HAVE to rank up to keep progressing. It just sucked all of the fun out of the game I’ve spent 10 years playing and investing in. This is absolutely just disgusting and a way to force people into spending to keep up if they want to upgrade the champs of their choice. I have never seen a more greedy and underhanded gaming company in my life.

let’s make 100s of champs then make people rank just 30 to benefit from monthly event. I think I’d like 30 sets of rank down tickets to play what appears to be a dull and boring way forward what happened when everyone has same 30 champs ranked up ? Boring. What a way to remove free will. And what a way to damage sales now people will invest in 30 champs only or didn’t they see that coming lol

I got bumped down to 18k :) (I was at 30k). Because I don't rank up as many champs as I can, I only rank up ones I actually want to play.

The largest issue I see here is there are F2P valiants who have been at that progression for over year. They have 6-8 R4 and 25-30 R3s.

Let’s assume a player such as that had a prestige of 33-34K and just got bumped down to 25K - 29LK.

This qualifies them for tier 4 to 7 out of 15.

If tier 4 of 15 rewards aren’t as good or better than the last 3 months of Valiant EQ, then these F2P Valiants take a big L from Kabam. For that matter if some Valiants barely qualify for tier 1 of 15 and have been doing the Valiant EQ each month and tier 1 rewards aren’t as good as the valiant EQ then they also take a big L.

the problem isn’t the math, it’s an issue with the UI. It’s showing you what it thinks it your top 30, but it’s giving you non-mastery adjusted PI. This includes both prestige and ascension, even though ascension doesn’t affect prestige. This makes it appear as if more six stars are involved in your top 30 than there probably are.

They have to make the sales more appealing somehow, they want you to buy all those upgrade materials to upgrade all of those 30 champions and hey if you don't have good champions to upgrade for the prestige, the sales got you covered as well. /s

For EQ I believe it's from when you enter. I think they mentioned on the stream that you should be comfortable with where you are and make rank ups before joining. For aw and aq I'm guessing it's a cut off just before the next event

Something to note is Purgatory and Overseer are villains whilst being new versions of existing characters.

So Citizen V, Screaming Mimi/Songbird, Techno/Fixer, Mach-V/Beetle, Atlas/Goliath & Meteorite/Moonstone as potential champion picks?

If so I'd say Citizen V would be definite since he's the only one we have already with Zemo and then one of the others seem fitting
