Re: BATTLEGROUNDS and SUMMONER FEST rewards
It's not a delay, that's why I used the word normally, because it is as predictable as new content drop times
Re: Titan compensation is Terrible!
Kabam cannot reset time and undo the past. Statistically speaking, your expected rate of return on opening five Titan crystals was 5/18 of a Zola. This rounds to zero. Giving everyone a selector means first, everyone will be getting more Titan "drops" than they otherwise would have had, and for those that were explicitly aiming at Zola they are probably getting more of him than they otherwise would have. Only the players who opened more than 18 Titans are getting statistically fewer Titans, and only players who opened 27 or more Titans are getting statistically fewer than the rounded expected rate of return. This is a marginally tiny number of players, and I would hazard a guess that most of them aren't hurting for ways to acquire Zola.
In your case, the odds of pulling even a single Zola were just 25%. There was a three in four chance you would have gotten no Zolas. The odds of pulling two or more are about 3%. So the odds that you could have done better than the selector are about 33 to 1 against.
So except for the rare lunatic who was planning to open a thousand Titans hoping to walk away with a max sig Zola at the end of the day, pretty much everyone is getting more than what they were statistically likely to get. Sure, there are rare people who would have ended up with more Zolas, but just because such people statistically exist, doesn't mean they are even the right people to benefit. It is entirely possible and probable that lots of people would have gotten Zola dups that were not even looking for or wanting that champ, and conversely lots of people wanting to get and dup him could have still failed to do so.
The idea that everyone had different expectations, so we should just ask everyone precisely what they were hoping to get, and then giving it to them because hey, it could have happened, is asking for the ridiculous.
Re: BATTLEGROUNDS and SUMMONER FEST rewards
They always drop on friday around reset what are you talking about
Re: BATTLEGROUNDS and SUMMONER FEST rewards
BG rewards normally drop in about 3.5 hours from now, try some patience
Re: GREEDY MOVE ONCE AGAIN!
So pretend they didn't extend it.... You are not spending anyway. I don't understand how this affects you. You are not getting something that you weren't getting anyway....
Re: GREEDY MOVE ONCE AGAIN!
This is a rather stupid reply honestly.
You are saying that it would have been better if Kabam didn't tell everyone the free points wouldn't continue to count. That way, when people realized that they weren't counting they could get mad about it because it looked broken?
The t7b was never meant to be available for free from points. It isn't like they suddenly took something away that we were going to get. The free item was the first item, nothing changed.
I am happy Kabam actually was proactive in the information on this instead of reactively responding when issues came up because people realized the points weren't adding up.
Re: Is Zola comp enough
I can just imagine McDonald's selling me five cheeseburgers, but I receive five hamburgers. Then they say, "Please take this single cheeseburger as compensation."
No, they wouldn't — they would provide me with the correct order as displayed.
Well that's my take on this 🤣
I'm not saying we should be provided like for like but a selector of sorts should be issued to those who opened in the first couple of hours.
Re: Is Zola comp enough
Chatgpt did do it but it' looks correct. They are cumulative odds for 1 or more, 2 or more, etc. This is for a sample size of 7 Titans and 3 nexus, remember nexus have 3 slots that cannot be duplicates of another slot. Therefore a nexus is worth more than 3 crystals because it eliminates potentially 2 champs from the pool making the last slot only have 16 champions rather than 18.
Edit here are the odds for nom-cumulative
0: 36.6326%
1: 39.2184%
2: 18.2884%
3: 4.9088%
4: 0.8450%
Re: Energy refill issue
Call me cynical, but the days of good feedback are over with CCP 2.0.
