Re: State of BGs Post-J4
Compulsory BG is full of whales post after July deals.True, but at least I kept the ranting civil and dressed it up with a screenshot example.
Anyway, it was cool when I was participating in these sales, but I decided to skip this one entirely just as an experiment for myself, and now I see how it's a huge problem.
Call me a hypocrite.
Or call me a prodigal son.

Haha. Funny to see a rant from your side.

This is not new, happens after every sales event. Competitive f2ps have stopped ranting on sale events. Nothing they say will change whatever kabam has decided.
People were expecting 8 r4s. 2023 July deals actually broke the economy. They are never going to let it happen again if you ask me.
I saw someone said they bought every single offer and can r4 7 champs. So that honor is reserverd for sweaty megalomaniacs dropping thousand dollars weekly.
Stopped pushing for a reason. Me as a f2p have played in top 30 aq for an year. It was surprising at one time that I had the higest prestige in the ally. But that's not possible in this aggressive monetized era.
Don't really care about the game or the whales or the pros or the noobs or anyone else. Got a small little circle that have fun together.
Enjoying the game on my alt account doing all old stuff and rebuilting. The journey is fun. Buying out everything is never going to be fun.
Keeping the passion alive and occasional rants about whalelocked normal champs not trophy champs that eveyone loves.
Re: What previously buffed champ should get another buff?
I honestly think Vulture is fine as is, he’s very good against power gain matchups. A bit niche but I think that’s fine, just a 7* release would do him wonders I think.
As for who I think deserves a do-over,I think Colossus warrants a second go. He’s far from the worst buff Kabam has done, but he feels a bit awkward and inconsistent. I think some minor tweaks would go a long way, he’s got a good skeleton now and just needs some extra oomph. Similar opinion with Karnak.
Also here’s a fun reminder; Carnage was buffed alongside Venom. The absolute disparity between them is kinda laughable. He sucks, give him some more juice pls Kabam.

Re: Goodbye MCoC
Thank you for the kind words everyone! I think July 4th just helped me make the final push to quit the game. I’ve been open to critiquing Kabam but I’ve also eased up on them a lot the last few months and tried to see it from the devs side. I think the recent deals have made it especially clear that it’ll take a lot lot more grinding (or money) in the future and I think the game already takes up enough time as it is
I played this game all through high school and now through college and it’s just a lot atp and you kinda realize it’s just gonna be an infinite cycle of chasing champs. Even if Kabam does fix the issues they have now (which I honestly doubt, especially the AI) I think the game is too much of a drain anyway. I think there is good in the game (I’ve certainly defended these things lol) and I’d hope they figure out what to do to please the community after the reactions to the direction this year
As always I think the champ design team has been doing such a fantastic job with the champs this year and that’s probably the thing I’ll miss testing out the most. Once again, good luck to everyone and I’d say to go for the break/retirement if you’ve been considering it

Re: Is Doom the next “event” champ?
Lol they're not going to monetize a champ that's moderately outdated in the same way they would monetize a champ like Abs or Claire and that's a fact. People who spend only when it's worth it would absolutely whale out for the other two, but not for Doom, he is completely irrelevant in the meta currently no matter how much of a fan favorite he is.I don't think Doom will be the next Torch/Dark Phoenix/Red Guardian chase champ he's very outdated for that. Mid on attack for BGs because he has a lengthy rotation you can't skip the animation, and then on defense his specials aren't really as hard to dex as they used to be when he first came out there are way harder to dex specials these days + many science nukes that don't care about his crit resistance. If they were to do this kind of chase for the mystic class it's very likely it would be Abs Man. I can however see Doom being the mystic champ for the next HoF type event. When has that stopped whales from buying a champ, lol.
Doom is fan favourite , both as character and as mcoc champ, and that's enough reasons to milk
Re: For the Red Hulk Haters 😘
Looks like he really needs suicides, Good champ if you look for someone simpler to use. One utility I like about rulk is not dependent on debuffs despite being a science champ, which is helpful in some scenarios.
Re: Epoch Lane 6 Team Help
I used
r3 unduped onsloght
R2 unduped juggs
R2 duped whiger.
Ham onslaught solo. Just use sp3 with many porkers on you.
Viv juggs 3 revives. I played good but lotta block damage I don't remember why...
Annus whiger solo. Very straight forward.
Dani onslaught solo, (sp2 dex)
Moleman onslaught solo. Slow long fight. Give him 20 charges with your sp1 and you can parry normally.
Tigra onslaught solo. Don't remember much about this one either, a sp2 dex here and there.
Since you posted your 6* that means 6* gate is open for use. R6 kushala can do Viv. Use sp2s soul barb and Viv dies fast.
Viv tigra and dani fights have a skill ask of dexing specials. Other 3 fights are straight forward.

Re: Epoch Lane 6 Team Help
I am a mid player & I did this lane few days ago thanks to Mcoc Noob's guide:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsr_lZHP9Ec&list=PLFTNjJeyqtcfTOjRqiBZs6GkzJppwaRsc&ab_channel=MCOCNOOB
I used Onslaught for Ham, it was the easiest fight ever, just parry, heave then sp3 when you see number 3 under you health par, 2* sp3 should be enough. 0 revives
Kushala can easily handle Viv, if you can dex her sp1 then its just as easy as Ham, if you can dex the first 2 hits but not the 3rd then just block it. 0 revives
I used Dazzler for Annihilus cuz she will get 3 buffs when launching sp2. 2-3 revives
Kushala & Ons M.Man. 2-3 revives
Any one for Dani. 0 revives
Kushala & Ons for Tigra. 5-6 revives
Ons for Ares cuz he is my highest rank so I just kept reviving him, you should watch Mcoc Noob guide for him:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_9vTkIKU7A&list=PLFTNjJeyqtcfTOjRqiBZs6GkzJppwaRsc&index=7&ab_channel=MCOCNOOB
I basically learnt how to deal with his sp1 (cuz he uses it 2/3 of the time) & ignored his sp2, when he uses sp1 I will be ready for it, when he uses sp2 I take it on the face. around 10 revives.
Best of luck

Re: Need to R3 ASAP - Please suggest
If you plan on doing the necropolis carina challenges, Guillotine 2099 at r3 is a huge help
Re: State of BGs Post-J4
Stone is a fantastic player and well liked member of the community. It's his choice to spend that money because it's viable for him to do so. I am envious of him that he can but that doesn't mean he shouldn't. Personally I agree that the spending gap is getting too big now for most players. But there are also players in celestial that have far far less R4 but still make it up there purely from their insane skill levels. Play to the best of your ability with the roster you have and just try to have fun! That's what the point of the game is.
