this is very difficult to read. what are you complaining about? not getting double summonerfest points? they clearly said no one affected would get double points - everything else is doubled.

we all miss the previous valiant EQ, but unfortunately Kabam isn’t going to bend on this and revert back to it. Makes no sense why they would change from new content that the great majority enjoyed, to this dog’s hit but that’s Kabam for you. They say they’ll tune it down, but it’ll be the same form which sucks. I think most people liked the strategizing of which champs to use, especially with the first Valiant EQ they put out. Again not sure why they decided to make this change, and no one from Kabam has given any explanation for why and what they were thinking about by this change. It’s incredibly frustrating.

prestige has always been a BS stat. The purpose of prestige is to get players to acquire and/or rankup champs you may not want to play. Prestige adds zero to the playing experience and that is what Kabam doesn't understand.

Kabam highlights that the difference between champions prestige is way smaller than the difference between R1 20 sig champ and R3 200 Sig champ. However, the problems still arises are…

1/quests themselves are designed for players with large and diverse rosters. Players are already motivated to rankup champs to make the competition of content quicker and easier.

2/when do newer players prestige catchup to top prestige players, since top prestige players get more rewards?

3/what is the exact formula that determines prestige? Should I rankup, awaken, or put sig stones into certain players to maximize my prestige?

I also skimmed, so if I misunderstood what’s going on or talked on a point already discussed then let me know.

I know for me personally, moderating the Discord and the Forums was a lot to jump back and forth to.

It ended up me spending time in more than one until eventually I distant from both for about.

The discord is still in its infancy, so there will still be growing pains, and that includes with enforcing the rules.

With the forum, this new format is….well on mobile is honestly awful ha. It’s hard navigate and honestly kinda hurts my eyes, but I can see where things have gotten more lenient than what it was before.

I agree with a lot of points made here and am glad to see pinwheel chimed in and offered help.

I can also discuss with the other guardians some of these points as well as bring it up to other members if possible to see how some things can be improved here and the discord.

We appreciate the notes, Mike. I know you started by saying you think things are too fragmented, but I’d offer one suggestion — you guys need an old-school blog to collect announcements, important posts, graphics of rewards for events, lists of where to find shatter essence, etc etc. Post the decks from the livestreams and a link to Twitch there too. Just organize it in reverse chrono order, newest at the top.

I realize the news section of the site kind of fulfills this function but it’s also rigid in its structure and hard to navigate efficiently.

There is — and has been — a big hole in overall ecosystem of MCOC for a while. It is hard to know a) what communication about a topic is most recent, b) what’s official vs hearsay, and c) when decisions have been made, etc.

I’m sure it sounds like more work and it would be to some extent, but there’s probably a relatively easy way to syndicate between discord, the forums and the site. Honestly it would be a great job for a new kind of volunteer.

It’s the same for us in P3. Alliances from P4 with a war rating at T2 level are jumping over us. Your alliance is being overtaken by alliances from P5/6 with a T3 war rating.

Here's a screenshot of the post they didn't delete. They also weren't deleting posts that day, they were merging them because players couldn't read and see the dozens of other posts.
