Giving everyone the champ is realistic because Kabam has done broad compensation before, and in this case it would be a simple way to clean up the situation instead of making it more complicated. On top of that, I think everyone should also get the packages that were discounted, because that was part of the issue too.

Also, we did not all get the ascended version of Spider-Ham for free. We got Spider-Ham from the Market, but that is not the same thing as getting the ascended version, so that point does not really apply.

And when you say “people affected,” that’s kind of the problem with how this is being framed. The people who got the mistake did not really have something bad happen to them. They benefited from Kabam’s mistake. The issue is that everyone else was left out of something that gave value, so the fair fix would be to bring the rest of the player base closer to the same position.

I’m not saying everyone needs some insane perfect compensation, but giving everyone AA, the ascended Spider-Ham, and the discounted packages is not unrealistic. It is a straightforward solution to a mistake Kabam created.

The last part about people always asking “what is everyone getting?” ignores why people are frustrated. It’s not just greed. It’s that these mistakes keep happening, and the response often feels inconsistent. So when people ask for compensation, it’s because they want a fair resolution, not just free stuff.

You can disagree with my view, but I don’t think it’s fair to dismiss everyone who disagrees as people who were not affected or just want rewards. That reduces the whole argument and avoids the actual issue.

At this point, I’m done arguing with you about it because Kabam is the one that created the problem and going back and forth with you does nothing to fix it.

I haven't seen this clarification anywhere but happy to be corrected. What I'm not happy about, as a very recent Elder player, is that some Valiant accounts have spent about 600 units for something I grinded like mad for.

This is a completely unacceptable response, @Kabam Crashed. The number of players impacted or their level of competitiveness is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is there were players to willingly exploited a glitch and got resources at 1/10 of what Elder and Valiant players paid for the same resources. And your response is "life isn't fair?" Seriously? We're told not to exploit glitches or our accounts will be banned. But those who ignored that directive haven't been banned. We were told obtaining Elder would give us access to the best deals, so much for that. Then we're told that you're releasing a game mode that emphasizes horizontal roster progression, but your rationale for not taking action to correct this issue only looks at vertical roster progression. And, if the immediate impact wasn't bad enough, those individuals who took advantage of the situation now have a 19k unit head start on saving for the Banquet Event over those with a higher progression who sprent more units and/or money.

Doing nothing to correct the situation is not an option. If you can't justify pulling resources to correct your own mistakes - which, let's face it, happens EVERY SINGLE MONTH - then maybe spend more time on Q&A. Clearly Kabam has the wrong people working there. If I messed up on a project at my job every single month, I wouldn't be working there anymore. And if you don't know how to allocate your resources to handle these situations effectively, or better yet, prevent them from happening repeatedly, then maybe you shouldn't be in your position either. Come on man, do better. Fix your game designers' skill issues.

I'm an elder and everytime we have the same problem! A special gift (arca 7stat and ascension spider ham for all for start...) for all older player in the game

my sigil expires tonight. Not renewing. Unit bundles I’ve bought since they were introduced. Not renewing. I even see asking for my refunds from Apple and xsolla possibly and after 12 years finally having a reason handed to me to walk away. This is robbery to those of us who spent. Cash or units or both. If this is the final word im done. This is the last spit in the face I take from kabam. A lot of line and discord friends agree. I hope kabam is happy with their new players they are pleasing while screwing us long time vets.

yep, support got back to me and basically said too bad, that’s the way it supposed to work. So spent 300usd to get 18 points away from AA, could have gotten those 18 points free. But now I need to spend another 300 to get back to where I was because I got elder. I feel like they stole from me. They could care less about people they screw. Really ruining this game with their greed. I won’t spend another dime on this game, cancelling my sigil too….
