Pretty sure kabam doesn't even play their own game. They are extremely lucky this game is so old and has no competition. This game would not have last past one year if it released today.

I'm halfway to quitting, this game is getting boring. Been playing since around 2018. I still play but greatly reduced the game modes that I play, I just complete the daily quest and that's about it.

They can allow 200 champs in BGs and people are still going to pick 95% of the same champs.

And this new AQ...I am not sure it's purpose from normal AQ. It is like someone thought of this idea while taking a dump.

I know for a fact I’m not alone on this one but the 40 deck change has actually killed BGs for me. Months ago they started to address some things which I personally was worried about, issues I thought were killing the game for me at least, and so I praised them for it naturally. I thought things were getting better, genuinely, then Blue Marvel mid buffs and the 40 deck changes happened and now I’m back to being frustrated about some of the decisions they’re making.

First off, Blue Marvel and mid buffs because those two sort of go hand in hand. I don’t understand why they’re so terrified to make a strong science (this applies to every other newly released champ and buff from every other class not just science) on the same level as Photon or Spider Woman. Having a bunch of S tier champs in game (whether they’re new or reworks) is not going to kill the game, facing and using the same 3-4 S tier champs every single day definitely will.
This brings me to the second issue I have with the game, especially after the 40 deck changes which has amplified this issue even further, the game mode is starting to become boring and hollow. Every single match turns into who drafts the usual suspects quicker and **** skill, why? Because there are very little champs who are actually interchangeable in their respective classes and get the same results as the usual suspects against the usual meta defenders. Yelena hasn’t even been out for a year and I’m already sick of having to use Jean and DPX against her because Gentle doesn’t work and Cassandra just simply isn’t taking her out in under 60 secs unless you get perfect AI and she’s sig 200 with Assasin mastery maxed or something.

Anyways yeah, game’s going backwards again, might need to go for another break soon. I’m still hopeful that AI 2.0 will alleviate some of my concerns but if BGs and champ design don’t get any better I will most definitely need a break soonish.

In my opinion the game isn't trying to take everybody along, they keep quickly helping the 1% and sluggishly attend to the 99%, they take far too long to implement things that doesn't always go right, for instance this 40 deck set seems interesting, but they haven't pushed the economy to accommodate the increase in roster requirements, there's not enough T4 or T6CC even T5CC is starting to be a problem instead of pushing the economy first for casual and mini grinders first before creating massive changes, they create the change first then sluggishly start to push the economy... This is just one example, you can put this in the collosium perspective and other modes but this seems to have been their pattern for a while now and it's getting infuriating

Honestly QS and Fantman could probably do a pretty good run on their own. QS is very effective for Hulkling, Abs Man, and Idoom, and Fantman should be just fine for Onslaught and Jabari (though you will have to play around the Falter). Neither of them are particularly incredible against Jessica but they do a good enough job. Probably just slot in Photon as a third and call it a day, her anti-miss could help out against Jabari if you’re really scared of the Miss, but then you’ll have to be extra careful about letting her Cleanse Debuffs and trigger Damage Reflection. Either way she’s probably better than anyone else you could take just on account of being r4 and being a stat block.
