I thought Dracula was going to get the ascension treatment, but apparently he’s not

I’m hoping there’s a launch pool selector for ascension somewhere like they did for exploring necro with the 7* launch pool selector. They don’t have to make it easy but it would be awesome to have a guaranteed way to ascend your favorite champ.

With how the game economy works, by the time you have enough credits for 7* Magik and by the time SF Dr Doom comes out, you'll have already gotten enough T5A to make other Rank 5's.

By all means, save and wait, but the longer you do, the less valuable that R5 becomes.

@Northstarr Yeah but not being able to pick who you want to ascend is just frustrating. You take a champ to R5 for ascension… and then you actually can’t ascend them until RNG gives you their ascension… that’s why I went with a guaranteed value and amazing champ as my first R5. Better to not make your R5 decision on something that will be RNG dependent.

@peixemacaco Yeah it’s great, but it’s not like I can ascend him as soon as I have enough ascension material. I have to wait until RNG gives me Gentle Ascension specifically, which could be instantly… or could take over a year or longer with bad luck.

I highly disagree, it’s true the picks they chose aren’t all too interesting but some MIGHT spice things up. I wouldn’t change the champs they chose but rather make the buffs a bit more significant. Having ascendable Cull, Nico, Spider-Woman or Okoye would just push the powercreep that began with Serpent. Champs with good utility but somewhat lacking damage should thrive from this and we don’t even know how much the iso-burst will push these either. Perhaps champs like IDoom can cook with their damage during the burst now. We‘ll see.

@Anotherconcernplayer Absolutely haha. That’s why I didn’t choose my R5 based on ascension. You have to wait for RNG to allow you to ascend your ascendable R5 🤣could take a year or longer if you get had luck. That’s why my first R5 is deathless Thanos.
