I have been FTP since i started playing this game in 2019, and never seen a bigger imbalance since I joined.

I love BGs, but the new 40 champ deck requirement and 5 ban is actually a negative for my account and for most casual/non-spending players i think.

I grinded 90% of the game, and still struggle to even touch the roster power of the TOP players.

Currently i have:

7* R4 - 6
7* R3 - 11
7* R2 - 11
6* R5^A - 8
6* R5 - 6

so a total of 42 usable champs, but to be honest, if we disregard the R2 7* and non-ascended 6*, its more like 25 usable champs in BG.

With this roster when it was even weaker i reached gladiator in january 2026 and december 2025. I usually just prayed my opponent was bad at the game and also tried to play as cleanly as I could to outscore them, while placing lower ranked defenders and using lower ranked attackers, and it worked.

However, think about it, now , my R4s will get banned, i will be left choosing R2 7* ??? as defenders and attackers? and they will get lucky reshuffling 3 times in the match? i dont like spending my battle trophees on shuffling signets, id rather buy resources to rank more of my champs, i dont buy cash offers, everything i get is through the playing of the game.

So:

1. this firstly makes it more expensive to shuffle my champs if i wanna have the same advantage. (when it was 1 shuffle, i could take it or leave it, might use it in vibranium brackets)

2. My TOP champions will get banned and there is nothing i can do about it (it used to be only 50% of them).

3. I have to use much lower ranked champions because I don't want to spend $1000/month on a game. Therefore R2 defenders have no way to win, and with attackers i have to be 2x more aggressive , i dont know man.

I was so happy after last season thinking, hey, i only need to rank up 5 more champs, and ill have at least an R3+ power roster to compete now. But no, i have to rank up 15 champs now.

I hope this "experiment" remains an experiment and we can forget about it after. I get it why they want to implement it (players use the same champs all the time, also too many annoying defenders). But guess what, players will still use the same champs all the time, so this only gives advantage to those players who have like 50 7* at R4. and They will ban 5/6 of my 7* R4, and then, im left using my R2s..or spend more currencies to reshuffle.

like..... what? is this fair from a POV covering the entire game community? or is it just fair for the TOP 0.01% of players?
