To everyone giving hate, the player has mentioned that their roster has 6 star champs. I think Elder players should be pitched against Elder players and everyone else basis their corresponding progression as well. I've repeatedly been placed against decks that have upward of 3 R5 7*s, I don't have a single one. Banning the R5s ussually means banning your top champs as well and most of the R5s have a stacked roster where their R4s are at Sig 200 as well - this is a fact its not fabrication.
Very simply, the bigger gun wins, repeatedly. So while its awesome that players have endgame skill and they've become Elder, pitching them against lower rank players in BG is not fair competition.

re the skill point. I think that’s an over simplification. An opponent hitting you is time spent not hitting the opponent and working towards a KO. So to say that a fast time equals no skill simply isn’t true.

A clear advantage does fall within three groups. Firstly those with higher ranked rosters as they can do more damage and it takes more time to kill a r5 defender compared to an r4 defender. No question these players have a big advantage.

The second and third blend together. Those with a larger pool of high ranked champs to draw on, and those who understand and can use champs that rely on speed over safety.

A good example would be Nico as a defender with Spiderwoman and Human Torch as attacking options. Under previous metas you’d take spiderwoman every time. She’s poison immune and can take the fight relatively safely. HT will do the fight much faster but take a lot more damage. That damage doesn’t come because the player is less skilled, but comes simply as a result of using HT over spiderwoman. You have to take block damage and there’s no getting around it.

Two fights, one fast, one with high health and potentially no difference in the skill level of the player. Similar logic applies to Captain Britain as a defender. There are safe was to win and fast ways to win. Both require skill. Use the fast way without killing yourself in the process. There can be a very fine line there.

Inability to adapt to a new meta if anything demonstrates an absence of skill not the presence of it.
