Re: Fix the Grandmaster
The Grandmaster in Act 6 allows for leniency. If you’re talking about the Necropolis Grandmaster, you’re not experiencing a bug
Re: when do we gonna get Big characters like Fin Fang Foom?
I feel like if we're gonna add another sentinel in game it has to be one of the weirder ones like the tri sentinel or maybe even a wild sentinel. The distinguishing trait of master mold to the other sentinels is that hes huge, if he's gonna be the same size then I don't see the point. I would like to see more champs that are tall like sentinel though
Concept : Big Thing Alliance Quest
I had this idea for some time and wanted to share it here as well. I’ve been playing AQ since it was launched in July 2015.
I’ve been playing the mode for over 10 years at this point (which is crazy), and I can honestly say that I hate it. I’m tired of seeing it, I can’t stand it, I’m not having fun, but unfortunately I have to do it to stay competitive.
That being said, when the Big Thing Alliance War season started, I loved that season. I know a lot of people didn’t, but I liked that it took only 5–10 minutes and then I was done.
However, I completely understand the people who say AW should be more competitive and involve more planning and tactics. I love that too. Buuuut… what if the Big Thing concept was applied to Alliance Quests with a small tweak?
9 fights (1 for each summoner—9 summoners take their fight, and 1 backup) + 1 boss (everyone can attack it).
The increasing attack bonus for following the nodes stays the same. They can place whoever they want for the fights, but for the boss, instead of having the same bosses every season, each week we get one of the special story bosses such as the original Collector, the original Grandmaster, Act 8–9 bosses, Gwenmaster, etc. (Nameless Collector is definitely not welcome.)
If this special boss idea gets accepted, there should be a champion swap node before the boss. Maybe that swap node can only be used 1–3 times so there’s still a bit of challenge.
In this concept, the 9 fights rotate between champions. So if you’re fighting Sentinel in week 1, it will be Guardian in week 2. Bosses also rotate, so if you fight Gwenmaster in week 1, you’ll get Grandmaster in week 2.
I believe this could bring some dynamic gameplay to Alliance Quests, and when it comes to bosses, players’ play styles will change each week. It will mostly be 1 fight, maybe 2 for some people, and I think it could actually be fun—which is the most important thing when it comes to playing a game. Unfortunately, I’m not having fun in AQ anymore, but I have no choice but to play it. I’m sure many competitive players are in the same situation. Most of us continue running AQ not because we enjoy it, but because staying competitive forces us to.
Currently in AQ, I stay as backup in section 1, then fight Morbius, Black Cat, Champion, Mangog, and Yellowjacket in section 2. Then Ultron, Black Panther (CW), Juggernaut, Night Thrasher, Purgatory, Hood, Starky, and sometimes Kitty, Scream, or Mordo. I didn’t check the map for this list; I’ve been doing the same thing for months, so I can write them in order from memory.
Please consider changing the AQ format. I know Coliseum is coming, but normal AQ will still exist. Please change the classic AQ format.
If you have any ideas to make AQ better, please share them. Maybe we can help bring some change.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your time and for reading this far.
May the AI be with you!
Re: 9.1 Thoughts?
It isn't difficult content, and is definitely a step up from Act 8. But the increase in difficulty (it really wasn't more difficult) was increased health pools, removal of attack boost for 6*, and nodes that competed with each other (looking at you diss track and debuff immunity) to stretch the fight out even further. There was a lack of imagination and creativity and the result was lengthening fairly boring content.

Re: Gladiator needs a fix
I still remember the first time I seen Gladiator, was in X Men 92 cartoon. At the time Jugg was the big hitter, and to see Gladiator to take Jugg Punch right to the chest and didn't move an inch was awesome.
So was very excited when he come into the game.
I do try Mike's tips and while I can see it work, but sadly AI still make Gladiator far too unreliable, which is a really shame.
Really hope this AI 2.0 will help fix a lot of these champs like, Gladiator, Titania, Cassie, Mr Neg, ect.
