Comparing EQ from previous to current should be just EQ. The update to daily quests, while nice and I do appreciate it, should not be factored in to the EQ comparison.

Yeah, this bugs me too. So much energy wasted for a couple of fights. It's going to be harder to meet daily objectives when I'm busy, let alone others for special events. Especially since we can't just run lower level EQs on auto anymore. I'm not even close to the weekly now either, even after doing more Arenas than I normally do. What on earth is Kabam thinking?

New event quest for September

MCOC will be dead by the end of 2026. GTA VI
Have you noticed how desperate KABAM and every developers in this game, try to make their audience play this MCOC? From the new content to releasing champions like Silver samurai? But just like how superhero movies in 2025 are flop, games like MCOC will start to fall. I started MCOC in 2019. I was a casual player until 2023 where I got serious about building my game account. I will explain why MCOC is reaching its end of the cliff in 3 points.
1) Kabam Monetization Reputation.
These RNG crystals "bait" offers, ever- increasing spending walls, its only that players like us feel squeezed out. Even the whales of this game are really unsatisfied with how MCOC is now. Imagine you are exciting to pull a 7* and then you get "sauron, moondragon, mordo, the leader" as your champions. Its humiliating and enraging. You grinded and you don't choose champions but RNG choose for you. Then you see a Uncollected player" with a 7* Gamora. Marvel rivals are better.
2) Competition is Heating
There are many mobile games that are outpacing MCOC. Games like Marvel snap, call of duty, block blast, free fire, pubg and many more. MCOC is not even in the top 100 in "best mobile games list by metacritc". Also many young generations have moved from Ipad to console gaming. Speaking of console, many games are gonna pull players away. GTA VI, THE ELDER SCROLLS VI, THE WITCHER 4. I know mcoc is a mobile game but people spend $500+ per month on this game. That can buy 12 PS5"s. Those games have variery of choices and value players unlike KABAM. If you give people a chance to play their favourite heroes directly instead of RNG gambling for them, they’ll flock.
3) Complete stagnation and numerous abandonment. I count 6 famouse youtubers quit MCOC. They all quit because they felt empty, disrespected, taken advantage of and many more. If you hop into Reddit, YouTube, or forums, the vibe is toxic. Complaints outnumber hype posts by a mile. When a game’s own fanbase spends more energy criticizing than celebrating, that’s a slow death clock ticking. Plus The Game is Old AF. 2014 launch → 2026 = 12 years. Mobile games rarely live this long. Technology changes, phones evolve, app stores push new flashy titles. MCOC is basically a grandpa compared to what’s coming.
Its time to move on from MCOC. Just like how nobody ever lives their childhood and teenage life for eternity, this game is also on that list. Stop spending more on this game and hope to revive. KABAM and MCOC never respected me and neither will you. So cherish these moments and move ON!!!!!.

This is 1000% wrong. They can, and have in the past, adjust tuning for hp and attack on live content. They are choosing to say screw the players.

The problem is their solution. They say they'll change it, this is on Discord. But what will they change? The freedom to choose the monthly mode, that is, Valiant Knight? Will they make the mission easier? Will they improve the rewards? Will they replenish refills and revives in some content? In my opinion, they should rethink their strategy. Because the forum has never been so dissatisfied with an update like this. And rightly so, because the problem is in administration. And it would be simple to solve; there are several open threads explaining how. Merge them, hold a meeting, and solve the problem. But that's if it's considered a problem.

Players can adjust the progression and tiers to see the difference in rewards currently but the difficulty is fixed to your prestige
If players can choose the difficulty and preview the health and attack before entering the quest, that would be great
Like players can opt for less rewards and easier difficulty or hardcore players can opt for highest tier for valiant difficulty and get more rewards
That would solve the issue for everyone similar to Goldilocks and the three bears story

I'm not doing it. I enjoyed the previous EQ, especially the Valiant Gauntlet. I don't have the time or spare resources to waste on this for the rewards provided. I'm doing the daily quests instead.

My wife asked if I stopped playing the game because usually I’m always on my phone for the game. I’ve barely opened it today. Did the daily quests I wanted to do and that was the only time I’ve really opened the game.

Yea I saw the video on youtube, it's such an entertaining video from the jokes in the video, I laughed so hard at the Kabam jokes from KT1
Especially the the jokes about Kabam making mistakes every week so Kabam can send us compensation every week filled with energy refills
Why worry about the lack of energy refills when we know Kabam makes plenty of mistakes and this game is approaching 11 years old, the app is now made up of old and new codes and isn't performing well at all, we will get compensation regularly, energy refills, revives and potions
