No one is complaining about not being able to ascending day one, it's the fact that we have to wait 1 year to ascend them, this will inevitably kill the Titan Crystal value that is already bad

the reason why it seems you didn’t understand what’s going on when you made the post is because you inaccurately stated that the ‘mid’ base pool is what we were stated to have to wait a year to ascend.

We can ascend champs from that pool on day one. Heck, for free. Kabam’s giving away a free crystal for ascensions.

The issue is that new champions, the ones typically considered good, some of which even seem to have been designed with ascension in mind considering how weak they are at base, will only be ascendable outside of their valiant crystals in 2027.

Maybe you don’t take personal issue with that, but historically new champs in the newest rarity (let’s face it, ascension is just 8 stars) are available in that rarity via a featured champ pool that’s available typically 3-6 months after their release. 1 year, by comparison, is LONG. We can’t have this become a standard or a trend. We are simply encouraging the dev team to consider some alternate means of ascending new champs within the 6 months following their release.

People who pull new champs like Dr Strange and Madelyne Pryor from the $$$$ valiant featured crystals get ascended versions, while people who pull these new champs from the titans cannot ascend them until sometime in 2027.

Instead, right now, the non-mega-whales can only ascend the mostly crappy old champs like Gorr and Patriot.

It's cool if that doesn't bother you, but at least discuss the topic coherently.

I agree. It was misleading to tell the community that every champ after pav and lizard will be ascendable immediately, then tell us now that it's only for the first 2 levels and only from purchasing featured crystals.

I also think the expectation that we would be able to ascend any champion is kinda crazy. They will not let serpent, jean, nico, okoye, onslaught, etc. rule the roll out of ascension. This is a star level replacement, and because of that we need to filter who is available for the initial power boost. It's much healthier for the contest.
