Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
By the way the leason learn part on the official announcement is hilarious. You learned that complexity is bad, so you guys wanna keep things simple and monetize the new relics?
Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
There were essentially two options at this time:Option 2 seems the better choice.
- We release new Statcasts with new Shards
- We don't release more Relics
Relic materials have always had their own reward budget and never took away from anything else.
No one asked for relics, when they were announced the majority of the player base was against them, then kabam fumbled the **** out of the concept.
I imagine something similar will happen with statcasts.

Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
Nah seriously How long has Kabam been giving this pretty much discontinued before announcement items as rewards?
Every realm event, every BG season before switching to radiance, bunch of SQ and EQ rewards... All this time padding rewards with something that had no intention other that being discontinued at announcement.
What a load of ****.

Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
Well I said it, this was going to be my last straw. Months and months giving useless relic shards and rank up mats as part of a reward to do what? Make a new crystal?...
So what is next? ISO 2.0?

Re: What to expect with Mysterium store update?
Probably give atleast 4 t6 basic and 4 t3 alpha in both chest costing 26k mystrium so in total you can collect 8 t6 basic and 8 t3 alpha every week and honestly it will definitely make the difference now and after update
Also definitely new relic shards with old shards in more amount

Re: Really want that 7* stark spidey. CCP challenges advice
Did you redeem the Teir 4 reward of the Heatwave deals for options of a CCP Selector that is on offer?
Re: How much monetization is too much?
It is a step too far, I was willing to blow out $400 during Spring Cleaning and HoF because of the rewards and offers but $400 this time around didn't get you anything other than a bunch of Titan crystals and an awakened Stark Spidey. I mean come on, $400 was already a lot and now they move it up to $600 because of Torch? What's next $800 for Hulkling?
Absolutely ridiculous, I'm not saying we should get a ton of stuff for spending only $50 but the fact that even $400-$500 doesn't get you that far is crazy this is a mobile game, they're getting very greedy and it is extremely annoying.
I'm speaking from a low to mid end spender perspective of course because I am no longer f2p, but I'm sure it must be even more frustrating for f2p players since you get basically nothing out of these events now.

Re: How much monetization is too much?
MCOC is a free to play mobile game but don't mistake that for getting everything in game for free
Kabam has to sell something to players to sustain the game financially
But at what price?
There is a concept called "Price Discovery" whereby the seller set a price and see if buyers are willing to buy said items at that set price (39k for 7* human torch)
If buyers don't buy units or whatever den Kabam have to think about lowering the prices the next time round
It's willing buyer willing seller, players vote with their wallets
It's mainly the whales sustaining the prices by buying everything, this gives Kabam the confidence to set high prices knowing the whales will bite the line, hook and sinker

Re: How expensive do you think 7* Magik will be?
500k radiance a piece. 5 pieces.
Damn Cheap
The purpose of including Magik in the store is to create a chase for players earning huge amounts of Radiance. Until we get more data I can't say how much it will cost (we still haven't had a non-borked Battlegrounds season). I'm confidence though that it will be a lot more than 250k, given players in top alliances earn way more than that every month. Won't be all at once though, players will gather pieces over time.
