That is correct we never reached Masters because we all hate old AW lol that's not really burn, we despise it.You just proved that you have no idea how a master alliance works.It absolutely is, especially since there are like three other game modes for you to play that are just as rewarding as new AW, nobody has the time or the patience to be planning AND doing a gazillion fights a week along with all the other content.It's not fun to spend three hours setting up an attack, but it's also not fun to do 3 fights a week or to see someone die three times in the same fight because they're not capable of playing a long fight and losing the war because of it.It's unbelievable that you liked the TikTok version of Alliance War.I played old alliance war and spending three hours every single war assigning paths wasn't fun, for me or any of the other officers in my alliance. Don't be mad just because some have a different opinion lol
You can't call 3 fights per week a competition.
And the worst thing of all is that I've been playing Alliance War since the time when seasons didn't even exist, that is, in addition to the 57 seasons that I've played practically all of them.
Seeing the game mode that I like the most and that is the only reason I still play after 9 years have the possibility of being lost and giving way to something like this is sad.
And the worst of all: From the opinion of people who have never played Alliance War because they don't want to invest time or don't have the ability to play.
Just bring it back with another name and let it happen in parallel to Alliance War. This shouldn't replace Alliance War in any way, not even sporadically.
It's the equivalent of ending Football and forcing people to consume and watch Kings League.

My opinion is that I want Alliance War to continue as it always has.
Put this as another Alliance game mode, with another name, so that those who liked it can play it.
This must be a lot of fun for those who can die thirty times and win the war. For those who play and need to die less than ten times, doing your part and watching others die is not fun at all. For those who are one of the only ones to die, it's not fun either.
You only have one fight and you die, the weight of that must be terrible.
It's not fun when there's an entire ecosystem of organization and when 30 people planned their rankups to have a solid defense and suddenly, the map has only 10 defenders.
And as you can imagine, it's not fun when you face an alliance that spends a lot and they have a champion that was released this week and you have to face him in every group. Instead of losing a maximum of 9 attack bonuses, you can lose up to 30.
This map even kills content creation. I have a Sentry fight that lasted thirty seconds. How am I supposed to make a video out of that?
And I haven't even talked about attackers. I have over 60 champions above 7 star rank 3. Most of them are Alliance War specific. Designed for different scenarios. Most of them have no use in Battlegrounds.
There needs to be room for all people and all types of players in this game. Alliance War is the only space that accommodates me and works for me, as well as for many of my friends. Just create another game mode with this thing and leave Alliance War alone. If you can't commit to it, if you don't have time for it, it's not for you, there are plenty of other things for you to do in the game.
You said you were in Masters and you're telling me one of your teammates can't do long fights? You can't be serious lmfao if that is the case then maybe stop carrying him and have him look for another alliance that's more at his level? That's what we do, and that's how alliances work if you want to stay competitive.
You act like ranking up defenders wasn't a must these days, it is if you play BGs which you should because the biggest rewards are there currently. You're just complaining for the sake of complaining, you would rank those defenders regardless of how much war you play, and I know because I ranked up a lot of them and this was the first time in a year and a half that I played war.
You just complained about fights being too long and your teammates dying, then proceed to complain that you had a 30 sec fight with Sentry and can't do videos implying that's the usual fight in new AW, so which one is it? If they're so easy and short why are your teammates playing so bad? Maybe they should he in a Gold alliance?
Do you think running this as a different game mode (when they already have a new one planned) is easy and wouldn't take up resources? It does lol and unfortunately for you if most people want this to be new AW then you'll have to either tough it out or leave the game if it's not for you, people come and go all the time it's not like the game will die because some people don't like this new AW format.
There are very few good players in the game, that's the truth.
Most of the players in my alliance are very good, but a minority are not.
Each player has a specific role. The guy who doesn't play so well plays White Magneto and he fights some fights with him and sets up pre-fights.
There is the guy who plays the mythical champions to play Serpent on any node.
There are those who always follow the same path, who don't give any trouble and don't die in those fights and, as a result, already have the champions to do anything that comes up.
There are players who fight long and difficult fights, who are the ones who take on the bosses.
There are players who play new champions, who are usually the ones who learn quickly.
This is true for any alliance. Even GT40, when it dominated the podium, had bad players. There is no alliance with 30 very good players and there never will be.
So no, I'm an officer in an alliance that has won Master 25 times in the last 30 seasons, with 2 podium finishes and 15 top 10 finishes. There are bad players here and, despite the problems, the map is democratic. Those who don't play the old map probably think they need to be very good or have a very good account to compete in Master, which is not true. There are players with accounts 3x smaller than mine.
And yes, there is a planning problem and I know this better than anyone, after all I take care of the planning and it's stressful. But the solution doesn't involve removing 80% of the defenders from the map.
Many positive changes have been made. Bans are now in place, we can now see the defenders before entering the map (before we had to use proficiencies and external tools) and all of this has improved the experience without having to remove all of the complexity of the map.
Other changes were made for this season: There is no blacklist and all global attackers are on the whitelist.
There are significantly fewer global defenders.
Without a doubt, these are subtle changes that will make a big difference in planning.
You say you take care of planning and you're an officer but then you say on a different thread that it only takes 10 minutes every three days? Wow, you gotta teach me how to do path assignments in 5 minutes since the other 5 are spent fighting, totally 5 minutes not 5 hours lmao.

Seems like the only people that enjoy the old format are the tier 1 peeps. So let them have that format and everyone else the new format. Everyone wins. Lol

Raid Month Enlistment
I went to enlist our alliance in raids for next week, but it’s not an option for me to select. Is this just me or anybody else having the same issue?

Glad you enjoyed the Dev Diaries, more of those on the way! As for this specific topic, not sure how specific we could potentially get, but if there's more interest in it could potentially speak with the team and see what`s possibleAbsolutely! I feel like well-written Dev Diaries on important topics build more trust and excitement between the developers and the player base. Of course there will be haters and harsh criticizers, nobody is safe from them. But I think it is still worth it.
