35k prestige f2p is average for an endgame player? that's news to me.

But I just finished my journey to the GC. I lost 5 matches total in the victory track. And I did run suicides the whole time, I'd say it definitely helped.

Also I genuinely believe that pushing to the GC earlier in this season is easier than pushing to it in this final week.

I dont think bgs being a partially roster dependant mode is the worst thing ever. We don't have many places in mcoc for that kind of expression. However I think that if bgs is this kind of mode then it is up to kabam to craft and shape the meta and seasons with this in mind in a way that doesn't make it feel disgusting to everyone. Which is something I do feel like theyre genuinely trying to do despite this season's scoring change being the biggest swing and miss in quite a while.

You must not know a lot of mechanics. I would say every one of them has one type of car that they won't work on because they hate them. Usually it's Pontiacs. Same thing here, all these mechanics don't want to work on some BS battlegrounds. And the best mechanic in the world would make do with what he had and get the job done. I'm not a mechanic and I can do that (with both cars and this game).

What you are doing is changing the argument to fit your needs, which is whining and crying about people whining and crying. So, now I'm whining and crying about how you are whining and crying about people whining and crying and now you are also whining and crying about my whining and crying. Clear as pie.

Some people just want to be difficult for no reason. Best cause of action is to block/ignore them.

I can't agree more. I think we need to look at VT for what it is…participation. Allow people to progress based on number of matches won with no penalty for losses. Move the goal posts in GC to start rewards at 50 or 100 points or whatever they want that bar to be. That way, you still need to win in GC to access GC rewards.

Casual players still have to engage in VT for pieces/rewards/emotes. If they want to try their hand at GC for better rewards, then they'll need to take down bigger, BG-ready accounts. They could even make the metas for VT easier and not so roster dependent.

Each season, placement on VT would be determined by prestige-30. No idea what those tiers would be but something like 10k and below bronze, 10-15k silver and so on. It won't solve the issue of bigger accounts who don't enjoy BG's staying in VT, but at least it wouldn't hurt lower P-30 rosters from progressing.

I get it feels more competitive now than it used to, but there's also a chase piece to be had so there's alot more people pushing in VT.

35k prestige is pretty average for an end game player, mine is somewhere around 36.5k, and literally only 3 r5's and the rest r4's.

Part of the problem is everybody thinking they needed to run suicides.

I also fell into that trap and had about 50% win rate. It was hell.

Turned them off and absolutely smashed my way through VT, rarely losing a match.

I was in GC within about 4-5 days of the season starting as soon as I figured that out, smashing my share of "whales" and way higher prestige accts along the way.

I assure you it's not because I am an above average player because I'm definitely not. Haha

Casually glances over how the sig stone chase would start all over again with 8 stars.. "yeah sig stones are a thing.." are they? How easy do we think 8 star sig stones would be to acquire? Lol.. if Kabam had went that route instead, please rest assured that 8 star sig stones would be rare

Hell, I'm still chasing 7 star sig stones atm.. that will taper off soonish though, in this alternate system

As time goes on, there will ways to target champs for Ascension - there will likely be Nexus and then selectors, etc. Just as with other champion acquisition crystals/methods

But iirc there will be smaller pools moving forward.. as another way to target as opposed to opening a crystal with 300, 400 and on champs in it
