But at the same time, that's part of the planning and strategy aspect of the game. There's enough time in the month to break that one champ out of AQ that's needed for a quest. Still something they could and possibly should get rid of, but it's only a roadblock for players that expect everything in a game filled with timers to work around their timing.

So just throwing this question out there, what happens when you get to room 29 and get absolutely road blocked by a single node? You’re out of your mind if you think that’s better than 15 twice, one per week lol not only are hps smaller, the chances of getting road blocked completely are way lower

Then ban Yondu and stop whining

Genuinely asking…. Is it mainly Masters alliances that hate it? I get it as most of the large spenders are in those alliances (like yours). I’d be upset if I built my roster for AW mainly to only get to use 1 defender.

From most other alliances, it seems Big Thing is strongly preferred based on discord, line chats and in here. Maybe there is a solution to where the top 100 alliances (or whatever) get the full map and a separate set of rewards and every else has Big Thing with lower rewards?

Either way, having Big Thing war more often is a win. A suggestion for next time:

A better map and allow bans! Imagine having all season with Yelena on node 3 with Anti Venom, Nefaria and Warlock banned. That’s what makes it fun!

Update (January 16):

As I've thought more about potential champions coming this year. Some other predictions have come to mind. Feel free to engage and post thoughts, theories and such, but do so with respect and let us as a community have fun seeing who think will be joining the Contest this year.

Another possible option is if not a female character they could also do The X-Cutioner. Considering they have had a tech champion to come in with a mutant champion this could possibly work. I'm still working through possibilities, but at least wanted to put this out here. I'm also looking into a champion that could be Tech and tie into the Saga relating to the Savage Land. Will update when I have further information gathered.

This month has been a Spdier-Verse month in at least 3 years. With us already having a Spiderverse champion already with the Spider-Slayer [J. Jonah Jameson] I'm wondering if that will still be the case, could we get 3 or even 4 Spider-verse champions this year. I mean if we get two Spider-verse champions in April, then with the Spider Slayer from January and Tombstone comes in January that would be cool. Again will keep working on looking into possible champions.

I'm reviewing the champions from this year's summoner choice to see if there is a champion who would work best in accompanying whoever the Summoner Choice Champion 2026. The theme is variants/multiverse so with that trying to narrow down some good possibilities.

For this month we get a champion that is "Halloween" themed. One obvious option is Tombstone. Consider he is most likely going to be in Spider-man Brand New Day. Besides that I'm thinking about other options Kabam could use. After us getting Fraken-Castle last year it does broaden my thinking. Will add to this section as I review possible champions and state which ones I think most likely.
