To go along with another post I've been discussing in about paywalled champions... a great way to future proof rewards would be to put at least one "new" 7 star (old champion, new as a 7 star) in every piece of endgame content. And keep that locked as the only way to get said champion forever. It maintains a unique way to acquire champs without paywalling them, and you truly have to aspire and work towards getting your favorite champion.
This would be how I would prefer they make champions exclusive instead of 1 week window big unit or cash spend and then gone forever. Stark Spidey, Masacre, and Spidey 2099 are perfect examples. I wish they would've kept moving forward with those kind of 7 star releases. To this day, the two champs I chose are the most future proofed rewards I've ever gotten. They were also the hardest to get, yet most aspirational and satisfying rewards I've ever gotten from this game.
@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex what are your thoughts on this? Is this sentiment widely reflected in your data? Is this a release strategy that could come back?

This is not to say that this Easter egg appeared in the video completely by accident, no matter how much it hinted at anything, knowing that Tyler is involved in Easter eggs, who simply loves to do such things. A video dedicated to the steam release. So, based on what we already know, there may only be two months for her this year. It's either September or November. But if we assume that everything has already been decided for this year, then I would expect it at the very beginning of 2026

Kabam forgot about players who play the game fairly. Then how will they have time for Modders, other than banning modders.....

Not about me liking or disliking it. There is broad lashback on and off the forums, in chats, YouTubers etc. Kabam choosing not to explore how they approach and release content in terms of how it will be received today, 3 months, 6 months, a year from now is a miss. Aka your answer to number 1 isn’t sufficient because if you actually listened to the feedback the ‘end game rewards’ for WOF will be outdated faster then the majority of the player base will even be able to attempt it.I understand where you're coming from, but immediately changing content within one week of release due to initial response would be shortsighted and reactive - decisions can't be made purely on sentiment alone.
Not taking a step back and reevaluating their decision in earnest after wide ranging feedback isn’t a good look.
Standing by a poor decision with limited community appeal is closed minded and naive.
I agree that the quest could have used more Sig Stones and Basic Catalysts, or lower-tier Rank Up Gems, and especially Refined XP.
A larger issue in my eyes is the distribution of rewards across all three quests, which is a lesson learned for the future if a quest with this format is released again.

Dear Kabam Team and Forum Members,
I’m posting this here after 10 long days of waiting, heartbreak, and complete helplessness. I was permanently banned during the June 6, 2025, ban wave — and despite being innocent, my account is still not restored.
In-Game Name: ÐR₳₲ØÑ會ÐYÑ₳ST¥
I’ve never used any third-party software, mods, or unauthorized game clients. I downloaded the game from official sources only.
Yet on June 6, I was permanently banned during a mass action affecting over 10,000 players. Kabam later acknowledged that their detection system may have caused false positives, and that innocent accounts would be reviewed, unbanned, and even compensated.
And yes, some players were unbanned after 7-day suspensions — but I wasn’t. I’m still locked out. My account was hit with a permanent ban, and I don’t know why.

Over 8,000 Titan Shards
15,000 7★ Shards
30,000 BG Chips, 3,000 Elder Marks
Missed Alliance Wars, Alliance Quests, Raids, Glory Rewards
Expired Daily Tier 3 Alpha Crystals, Legendary Crystals
Missed Super Events, Milestones, and Special Titles
Every day I log in 10–15 times, hoping I’ll be unbanned — hoping I’ll at least be heard. I sent multiple respectful support tickets explaining I’ve never used third-party tools. I was told it’s being investigated… but how long will that take? My in-game rewards are expiring. My effort is going to waste. My passion is being punished.

Right now, I am that innocent person. Being permanently banned without fault is painful beyond words.
I understand mistakes happen. But what hurts the most is how long it’s taking to correct them. If Kabam could ban 10,000 players instantly with a new detection system, shouldn’t there be a faster way to unban the innocent?
This isn’t just a game for me. It’s something I loved, invested in, and cared deeply about. I’m heartbroken. I’m exhausted. I just want my account back. I want to play again.

it's kabam - they banned 10k then went to chill for the weekend , then cameback investigated probably only the 7days bans

That's the first time you or anyone else has said the plan is not to release them in the base pool. I genuinely thank you for telling us that. I don't think the community should have to argue and plead to get that information and be told they are "going in circles" or be made to seem silly for expecting the answer "on a random forum post". We literally just wanted some info... thank you for supplying it eventually. I know you're in a tough spot and have to deal with frustrated people all day on here. I'm sorry you're frustrated that these Champions aren't in the base pool; it seems like frustration is causing my words to be interpreted in a way that isn't intended.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but "we aren't releasing them right now" is a plan, and that's currently where things are with these Champions.
I think it's fair to want to know if champions like Red Guardian and Human Torch will be unobtainable forever, a year, 2 years, 5 years? I understand what I'm being told: no one at Kabam has put thought into that question. I think they SHOULD.
The answer is that the PLAN is not to release them in the Base Pool. In the future, that strategy might change.
Additionally, if there was a current plan to release, say, Red Guardian to the Base Pool - you wouldn't be told 9 months in advance in a comment on the forums. Bluntly, that isn't how marketing works.

Will that plan change in the future? Probably - but there is no timeline attached.
It could change TODAY, who knows?
I agree that keeping all of them exclusive forever feels a bit silly, especially as that pool continues to grow. This game is huge, complex, and complicated - and every time something new is added, it changes the economy.
