I'm aware that it was only meant to be a once a week thing, and wouldn't expect them to change that of course, but why not just have the quest available throughout the week, then disable after you complete it and until it resets. So basically, aquire 4 tickets, do the quest, quest disables until the reset. You'd still have to do the same 4 daily's to get the tickets, and still only be able to do the weekly once a week.

And you're right, that would be ironic, if I actually posted and replied to this thread instead of doing the quest. Unfortunately that's not the case.. I have no problem doing the quest, but there have been times I was too busy to get to it on a Sunday, or just plain forgot, and it would just be nice to have the opportunity to do it throughout the week.

if you read the details from the initial launch, the extra tickets are so you don’t have to do every quest every day in order to get access to the Sunday/weekly event…if they made it so you’d need 6 instead of 4, ppl would complain that they’re being forced to log on or get punished for missing a day.

it wasn’t meant to be something completed right away, this whole new format is a combination of the older daily quests and the daily solo objectives…I doubt the majority wants to wait for Level Up to come around or have to rerun EQ paths for Event Quest Completion just to get these rewards.

If you can do the other daily quests, you can find a couple minutes to log in on Sunday to autofight the weekly quest…if not, then it’s not that important to you

Unfortunately it is what it is sometimes. There isn't anything that can or would be done. Setting up a system that prevents players from being kicked from an alliance would be overall bad for the health of the game. Your best course of action is to build a relationship with an alliance you can trust and stick with them long-term rather than hopping into a new alliance for a single event. Joining alliance for a single event is risky because some people love to just kick others for fun, but also because if you're only joining for that one event then it is likely that you weren't living up to the expectations the alliance had for you. You could've been kicked for a good reason.

To add, you wouldn't have gotten any rewards from the new alliance if you were kicked by the first one during the event. Once the event starts, you need to remain with whatever alliance you were in prior to the start.

Yes, the situation stinks and disappointment makes sense, but it's not Kabam's responsibility to make it up to you.
