Once I get ascension 2 on Maestro, I'll probably take him to r5 and use him more often. Other than that, I'd love to get Strange ascended, but I'm f2play.

I think this is an experiment to see if players will place value on previously undesirable champs if they are made ascendable. If so, this creates a lever to shift the Meta away from the natural order to something that can be tailored to upcoming content.

Deathless are just like a continuation of what Kabam had in a certain quest a long while back. NAMELESS champs, Guilly, Vision, etc. Do you remember the NAMELESS set of champs from back then ?

As well as Nameless Thanos, and Collector, Grandmaster, etc. that still appear as bosses.

Even their attainable versions that were available to get (Kang, Thanos) were always exclusive to holiday Banquet (why aren’t you asking why those are not in basic crystals too ?)

So when they made that group DEATHLESS, and available, they were by special means only.

And specifically, D.Thanos, as the leader (creator, whatever) of the other Deathless, obviously as the ultimate step from collecting the others.

I guess this is the only feedback they listen to when they say they are listening.
