And forcing players to play five matches daily is definitely a non-starter. They've also made it way easier than when BG first started with the two tokens per win.

Not sure about that one, I think one cycle is 35 days so the intend is that those who fully buy on the first 2 cycles get first appearance because that technicly would count as Magik's upmost 'first appearance'. The more important question is if you would be able to claim 2 or 3 Battlegrounds radiance rewards. Also it takes a bit to get the radiance so if it is 3 seasons I hope we get all the Radiance before the 70 days

Incursions/essentia

Kabam made the switch to essentia and got rid of things like incursions artifacts and then did all these absolutely stupid things to introduce this new currency but then incursions comes out again and we can’t earn essentia in the rewards.
Why not?
Essentia should absolutely be in the rewards for incursions!
Kabam why are you such scum?

Carina's Challenges Vol 4. - Thank you for a Win

Giving credit where it is due, as it seems like there have been some big L's for the community and some big time players retiring or heavily considering retiring from the game with how ascension was handled/communicated and essentia blunders, but I like this set up on rewards and they all have pretty good rewards for each objective and the ones for volume completion as well. I've been very critical lately of how things have been, but I am very happy with this one. It matches the target players well and its a lot more feasible and not super restrictive. It's not like volume 1 with beating the entire Labryinth of Legends with just a 4* Starlord. These are actually ones that allow people to be able to do this without needing 30 revives or needing to spend over 3 hours to complete a quest.

The point is make it challenging and reward the higher level players for more difficult content. So it was a very reasonable twist/objective to some of the harder content released in recent years (Abyss has been longer but its simple enough to add an objective to vs rework the Wheel of Fate IMO, so I appreciate not trying to rework another quest on top of Epoch of Pain as it was more efficient to only redo one quest vs two).

This didn't require creating new side quests or reinventing the wheel, but yet produced something worth doing that isn't going to feel like I'm wasting 5 hours trying to get like 130k point in squad builder for the lunar event for worse rewards (especially with 7* goldpool being very very slim chance). Things like this can go a long way with the community by this thinking I feel. It doesn't always have to be grand and overly complicated to be a successful event/volumes.

So thank you for this one.

I’m in similar boat. I’m only at 1.6k points after doing everything besides the week 2 and 3 side quest. I don’t think I’m going to make it when I can only open like 4 or 5 more crystals. Seems unfair that this isn’t an event we can all complete

Consolidating 3 stores into one is such a good idea and allows so much player flexibility. Hope they can get things ironed out soon, I am looking forward to when it's running smoothly.

One thing I really hope they implement is better UI. It would be really nice to have the Radiance and Essentia stores categorized into things like crystal shards / catalysts / alloys / sig stones /etc

Yeah, I agree. I actually really liked the "short, easy quest that explains your champ's abilities" format. Like, a lot. I think it was an excellent way to introduce the champions. I wouldn't mind if this became a reoccurring feature to explain how new champs worked.

It doesn't have to be for every new champion. I don't need an explanatory quest to explain a champ who relies on the tried and true "just boink the opponent on the head until victory" formula. But if you have a champ who is a bit more tricky to understand or who has a completely new mechanic or something, it might be nice to have a quest like this to explain that to players.
