I'd rather pay the 2.5k units and it's likely what I'll do. Arenas will not even be close to as annoyingly frustrating as BGs has been regardless of the Blade piece's existence.

Once again, I play the game to have fun and not because I want to slowly churn butter.

Rest assured that I am doing what I can to become Elder, but currently the only way to do that is to complete Carinas challenges (which I am also slowly preparing for), or spend money.

Punch up by means of their own skill, really. I am not saying rosters should be evened out in any sort of way to let those players compete.

I am saying that those with above average skill SHOULD be able to compete with bigger accounts, but the current meta lessens the skill gap that could be there. There is no incentive to come out unscathed, which should not be the case. In almost all forms of content aside from Arenas, you are indirectly rewarded in various ways for being unscathed.

Although it does raise an interesting point for if Kabam ever tested brackets for BGs like letting UC players only combat UC/TB players or Paragon vs Paragon/Valiant etc, but "equalizing" rosters is certainly not a solution.

Howabout the fact that the AI will throw a sp3 before they're even on their feet.... you try to do that.

Over a year ago, I told you everyone here that we'd be waiting if we didn't pressure them as a community to make immediate adjustments.

It's amazing the community thought this was going to get done in a reasonable time.

Have you guys seen the one where Tigra charges a heavy and phases your projectile special.. and then punishes you for throwing it? 😂

Firstly, it's a violation of when a character should or should not have its inputs available/recovery time (but this occurs so often now anyway) but yeah.. let's even disregard the fact that I chain the special to a combo properly (been playing since 2016) .. but why in the world would the AI choose to charge a heavy with a special attack a fraction of a second from connecting with them? And it just happens to be the only character in the game who uses a heavy charge to phase projectiles (I think 🤔)?

I've encountered it numerous times and I'll probably try to capture it in footage lol
