I've probably said it a few times already, having a chase piece with such a drastic experiment with BG's was not the best idea. A couple of node changes, sure no issue in my opinion. BG has been more and more of a grind over the last 5-6 seasons. It really has lost that fun factor to it. There are still plenty of cheaters in it.

On an entitled opinion, I've definitely lost interest in trying to grind out the victory track also in part that players dont just forfeit as often when they see my deck too, which makes it a bit annoying because I rather actually fight in the gladiator track then either waste my time easily beating people that should've just forfeited and saved me the 10 minutes that could've been used elsewhere cause I'm chasing the last SF Blade piece. Or I get a blatant cheater. Its probably 1 out of 6 matches, that I get a relatively fair fight.

I don't know the fix or solution, it looks like there's been progress in the matchmaking process, but I'm not how you can quantify the progress with a drastic change to the meta or having a SF piece attached to the victory track rewards to truly get a true reading on the barometer of how well BG is doing. A lot of veteran and highly competitive top tier players are either quitting and voicing their opinions on the fact that they've hated this meta, so maybe changes are on the way?

This is by far the worst content in the game. I want to like it. But the time taken to sit and wait while an over powered roster beats you into submission. Where every matchup has full rank 4 and 5s. It doesn’t seem to matter who I bring or ban, I loose 3/4 of the matches. So no possible progression without spending for shields. Forcing people into an unfun game mode is a poor choice.

There is no doubt that BG grinding has become very frustrating for everyone. It's very time consuming and simple progression takes hours of grinding based on match ups. A bad match up and you lose your hard earned progress if you don't spend units to buy victory shields. A lot of times for this reason most people have opted out of BG.

But this season adding the Blade piece made everyone come back to it. And the meta along with the already frustrating BG mechanism is making most MCOC users hate the game out of utter frustration. People have left the game over the years due to this kind of grinding frustration. People have also come back to the game when Kabam realised this kind of situation and fixed with new game modes or contents that ensures quality of life.

At this point I can only request Kabam to give away this Blade piece to everyone. They have given away at least one piece for quite a few of the champs earlier.

For BG, maybe remove the penalty for loss so that as long as you win you progress and not get punished for losing or a mistake in game or a bad match up.

I myself is still struggling far behind from Vibranium 1. I know it is same for a lot of us. Sure few of us have already progressed but for majority it is a frustrating grind.
