Go ahead downvote my post to lol but a lot things I said makes sense.

I would say some things do, but others sail over the line into hyperbole, which makes it difficult to focus on the parts that aren't.

Likes and dislikes are both overratedweighted. What matters is to what degree a poster can a) communicate their ideas and b) spark productive discussion. Every time you post one good idea and one bad one, everyone is going to focus on the bad one because that's just how feedback works. Players complain about what they dislike about the game ten times more often than they praise what they like. They respond to forum threads in much they same way.

Take this response to Crashed. Somewhere in there might be a reasonable discussion about spending/grinding/progression balance, but then I see "it’s been out for awhile and rewards have fallen off crazy and now we can already buy t7b next week for units/cash!?" and I don't really expect that discussion to go anywhere.

Plus, whenever someone refers to their position with "we" I am far less likely to take them seriously.

It doesn’t bother me but I made a post about how Sigil was a let down.

I’m stil paying for it but could have been a lot better is what I’m saying in that post.

It was a response to say how many likes there are as a “weighted” how positive my post was and people just agreeing on what I am saying.
