The New Women's Day Event is a Massive W
The new Women's Day event is amazing! It's so much fun and reminded me of how older side events used to be. Honestly playing it made me excited to play other parts of the game like incursions and the new Carina's challenges.
I loved how the quests and the opponents highlighted each champ's strengths. I loved getting to use some of the coolest characters in this game. I loved that the quest wasn't a million fights long and I didn't have to swap champs after every fight. I loved that I didn't have to replay the quest dozens of times.
It was an incredibly fun, self contained event. Do quest. Get reward.
And the rewards are great. The profile pics especially. Medusa donning her crown is my favorite so far. Reminds me of Amber Glenn lol.

Re: How to get Dr Strange Ascension Token?
IF they offer Dr strange valiant crystals again, you can buy a shitload of those and hope you get lucky. Think that’s the only way until they provide another avenue for earning or buying specific champ tokens. Or you can come back in 2027.

I don't really go the cheese route since I focus on carries, which a completely different style of play. But I'll be doing buff cornucopia, hulkling, and second chance, and then planning on not reading nodes (assuming most everything is the same).

It’s really just one per week? That’s disappointing. I smashed out the heroes one and was surprised the next didn’t unlock. Bummer.

Just finished my run with the following squad:
18 revives total, 1/3 of them on BPCW bc I kept messing up on him. Got a bit sloppy towards the end but overall happy with how the team handled. I didn’t feel like there were any fights where I had no other plan than to revive dump.
I might decide to do a write up on my run later. I was initially only planning to do so for the Epoch Gauntlet runs since those are gonna be by far the most difficult but I might just do the whole series for completeness’s sake.
