Re: So... Patriot Y or N? Which skill champ shall I rank
I ranked up my duped Patriot and am planning to take him to rank3 soon
Re: Solvarch is a letdown?
@GilbertoJunior @ItsClobberinTime You both have been trying your hardest to change everyone’s mind about Solvarch being mid/bad since he released 🤧 Clobber been jumping through hoops to try and do something with Solvarch that make him seem good…. and you’ve yet to do so. Clobber, many of us already have Solmid at R3-R4 and the common consensus is that he's still as mid as he is at any other rank. That won’t change because you specifically are gonna test him the same rank. We don’t need an update, we’ve seen what he can do. The champion needs a tune up. It’s that simple. You see the reviews for Solvarch even on youtube… they say the same shi.
Rather than trying to persuade people he is better than he is… it would be more effective to talk about how soon his tune-up will be happening.

Re: Solvarch is a letdown?
I do agree with some of your points but I disagree with a few.I felt like doing an analysis with just a bit of simplified math, hope I don't mess this up.Just took him to r2, and tried same sp3 rotation, exact same fight.Tried special damage stat focus previously and the total sp3 damage was 138k, you think it'd be better than armor penetration but I tried it with armor penetration right now and the sp3 damage went from 138k to 151kUsed this exact rotation I mentioned on a non energy non mutant matchup and the sp3 was 138k in total for a r1 Solvarch:@ItsClobberinTime You 100% care about all the arguing… your actions show it. Doesn’t matter if you sayyyy you don’t if your actions don’t show it. 💀 & calling me a narcissist proves that you have no idea what narcissism is. 🤧Go watch the video I posted? It has multiple rotations that give him decent enough damage to deal with the current problematic meta defenders. He literally takes all current meta relevant mutants, Zola, Spider Woman and Bullseye in under a minute what else do you want? You keep glazing Patriot every single day but this is trash? Patriot is literally ass for anyone that isn't Photon.
But you know what… since you’re so upset about it… and i’m such a nice, caring guy…….
Let me know your exact rotation that makes Solvarch seem decent in your eyes and i’ll actually go and test it out and let you know if it changes my mind or not. So just SP1 and SP3?
Anyways, you build to three bars and while at 100 core charges you throw sp1 to get 5 energize then do mm mlllm while they're stunned and sp3 immediately. If a r1 is getting 240k damage in one rotation then a r3 should be close to ko WS with one, if he doesn't you're doing something wrong and just to prove that I will r3 mine before Bastion so you can finally stop complaining and spreading misinformation.
Total damage was 235k, how is 235k damage for a r1 bad? Sure he isn't the fastest I won't argue that, but he can easily punch same rank defenders including non mutant non energy ones like Bullseye in roughly 50-55 secs. Doesn't mean he's insane but he's not trash at all, or mid especially when you think someone like Patriot is top tier lol.
So it seems armor penetration is definitely the way to go with him, again this is r1 Solvarch. I'll be taking him to r4 after Crucible to see what he can really do.
At r1, the sp3 damage was 151k and total damage was 262k. At r2 the sp3 damage went up to 194k and total damage went up to 334k.
Basically, sp3 damage increased by nearly 50k, total damage increased by nearly 75k. Sure sp3 rotation still isn't the fastest but if it continues scaling this way then he will have zero issues taking out same rank Bullseye Photon Spider Woman and Enchantress with that rotation even if it takes about 50-55 secs, better than getting straight up outdrafted without a counter. And then he will of course be a tank on defense if you really don't have a defender to use him against or if you draft a better counter.
I will continue to update next week when I take him to r3, and eventually r4 once I do the Crucible. There's a solid chance he might even be able to punch a whole rank above even against Bullseye and the others.
I'll definitely be doing a lot of testing this BGs season as well, that sp3 rotation is being slept on.
If we're discussing over the video Nick136 posted then I'll have small calculations and share some insights to disprove some of the false impressions created as seen on this post. I'll go case by case for his best performances against certain champions but keep in mind that both Solvarch and the defender is r4 in this video. I'll just analyze the matchups as seen in the video so prepare for some excessive yapping while I act as if someone cares.
Photon (1 min 9 sec): I don't think there's much to analyze here, with just the addition of Inequity this matchup clearly won't work at all or take much longer than ideal for a bgs matchup.
Spider-Woman (55 sec): Again, inequity will mess him up and lead to a timeout with a decent loss of health at best.
Bullseye (52 sec): Now this is where I do a slight bit of math to show why this matchup is not decent by any means. In the video we see Solvarch nuke Bullseye with a beautiful sp3. Unfortunately this matchup seems too risky for most scenarios. To see why, let's analyze the numbers a bit. Sp3 does 79k damage with a 171k burst which equals about 250k. A r4 Bullseye has around 400k health if I'm correct and we see the sp3 knock him out at %60 hp which is about 240k health points. Here is the tricky part, Solvarch had 76 core charges when he threw the sp3 which resulted in 10k excess damage. By the way his reverb scales with core charges, had he lost a few milliseconds and went down to 72 when he threw the sp3 he would have lost around 10k burst damage (around the same as the excess damage he had in the video) and considering the rounding error he would have been just a bit off from the knockout, probably resulting in eating an sp3 afterwards. Had it not been picture perfect as in the video his damage would have been barely off and it only gets worse for the passing of each second equaling about a 10k damage loss per second. I personally don't find a matchup with such strict numbers in play decent and wouldn't even attempt it at all. This was almost a miracle, not a realistic showcase of his capabilities.
Onslaught (32 sec): What can I say, this guy was made to nuke champions who inflict constant energy DoT. He excels at those matchups like no other but you can clearly see how limited those are unless nodes are involved. Seems insanely fun for them though, what a guy.
Captain Britain (39 sec): Same as Onslaught but I don't expect her to be meta relevant, a meta merchant at best. Not much else to say.
Jean Grey (39 sec): Poor Jean...
Mister Sinister ( 1 min 2 sec): The fact that Solvarch is not an actual robot really hurts him here, you can't do medium combo enders ever. He also doesn't have anything to counter ability accuracy reduction so pick whatever special you wanna bait, it'll mess you up. Not the best not the worst but far from ideal. All of Mister Sinister's threats are there, he only lacks the regen in this fight which is definitely valuable but still. Just serviceable at best and can't dare to call him a counter.
Iceman (31 sec): He nukes, fair and simple. Only downsides are the fact that he can't inflict coldsnap since Iceman is immune and you take some coldsnap damage even though a portion of it is healed back. Nonetheless a hp loss of over 10% is not the greatest but its Iceman afterall. Don't even worry about it, you probably won't ever face a r4 sig 200 Iceman. If you do you may have already lost that match, not even Solvarch would save you from such a whale.
Domino (39 sec): Constant energy damage is both nice and not nice. Nick loses over 10% hp yet again here but the main problem is the ability accuracy reduction, although not as much as your average champion you will still rely on RNG and there's no way around it. Literally a luck based fight that would be hard to consistently pull off as quickly as in the video. One great thing worth mentioning is the fact that you can prevent evade with your coldsnap which simplifies the fight quite a lot. Not a tricky fight at all, just a bit luck dependent which sucks since I'm never lucky 😞
Dust (1 min 2 sec): Nothing special here. Her sandstorm does inflict constant energy damage but do you really wanna trigger that? Honestly not sure if that can be a viable strategy, I'm curious now. Another 10% hp lost here as well and it also took quite a bit of time. Not great but not that bad either. Just... What was the word... Mid?
Enchantress (1 min 6 sec): I can probably count 200+ champions that can do this fight as effectively as Solvarch did in the video. I find it pointless to analyze an Enchantress fight tbh. Even Domino isn't as luck and AI dependent as her, pretty sure that Solvarch can do a lot better and a lot worse in this fight. Nothing to comment on, happens every once in a while when Enchantress decides to play nice.
Overall only 4-5 of these matchups at most could be considered ideal or great imo. The rest are either nothing noteworthy or just straight up out of reach for Solvarch. He seems like quite the specialist. You can claim that he has the damage, that he has the utility but he definitely does not have any versatility whatsoever. So this analysis will wrap up my final thoughts on the champion for now until we see more from him and I hope it makes sense to anyone unfortunate to read this mess. My general thoughts on him are out here in the comments piece by piece as if anyone would be interested. At least he looks cool.
1. Bullseye: after you throw that sp1 it's very hard to screw up and lose charges unless your reaction time is not that good. That's how I've been doing that WS in ROL and so far it plays perfectly, bait two sp2s and fight's done. The only thing that could screw this up is the metas mainly power gain ones, now of course I could be wrong but I'm definitely willing to try this matchup myself and I will once he's r3. I definitely don't think it'll be as hard as you think
2. Sinister: I don't think it's really as bad as you make it sound, I've done Sinister with champs like FAM and Red Skull and the rotation is pretty much the same as with Solvarch. Bait heavy and push to sp2, and the fight usually goes pretty well, I do think however he should've used sp3 here not sp2 sp1 like he did. Again, another match up I will definitely be trying myself.
3. Dust, Domino: I agree he's not the best and he will either take long or lose some hp but the way I see Solvarch for these fights is as a last resort. We all have been screwed by luck RNG, what if your opponent didn't get a counter for your defender that's an easy win right there. If you draft a better counter you can always throw him on defense instead.
4. Enchantress: another champ where I think he used the wrong rotation, what I will be trying out is bait two sp1s and go straight to sp3 before she throws sp2 but fight has to be over after her sp2.
5. Capt. Britain: I think she will be a lot more relevant than you think and that increases Solvarch's value, not saying she's this unkillable defender but she is very tanky you have to slow play it without a counter.
I do take back the Photon and Spider Woman comments tho, Inequity is absolutely going to be a problem there. I'm still going to try both but you might be onto something.
Also, another thing is he likely won't be able to punch a rank above unless it's a mutant or a matchup where you can get all 10 energize passives so that is something worth keeping in mind. I doubt he will be this insane dual threat like Spider Woman but personally, I do think there's some value and potential there, we'll see.
Session timeout in a behemoth fight
I was playing act 8.2.6 behemoth boss and I was learning to parry his beams and the session timed out. I played this fight for nearly a hour ( 45 mins - 60 mins), paused the game to relax and focus. I brought him to 9% and now I have to do it all again!

Re: The future looks bleak
I was beginning to wonder when the doomsday posts were going to show up again.I don't think anybody here actually cares about the well-being of Kabam and their success and longevity as a company. Good for them and their future spenders I guess but what about me, what about him, what about her? I don't want Kabam to succeed, I want to enjoy the game I play. Surely they are both intertwined but that's besides the point. Why would I care about their excitement for the future if I'm losing mine today? You may think and feel for the company but I don't, I only wish them success as long as they deliver what I want from them and that's what a healthy individual does throughout their entire life. Its not a matter of entitlement either, there is no emotional bond between me and a company in the first place. You repeat what they say as well, game is going nowhere with their stable income and growth. I'm just expecting to see some of their resources invested towards fixing issues me and many who think alike find harmful for their gaming experience since if else our joy will slowly fade away and we'll eventually disappear with someone else to take our place. You might not care about the individuals and approach these issues mechanically like a company would but I don't. I think for myself and for those who share my thoughts. I frankly wouldn't care if a game I no longer enjoy lives or dies and that's what anyone with some self-respect would do. And its only natural if I question a company with this much success for their decisions whether they take it into heart or not.
This game isn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon. This is one of the longest-running games of its kind, and I certainly consider it the most complex.
However, this is still a mobile game, and it will always have certain limitations. Comparing it to games like CoD and Fortnite is obsolete. Different platforms, audiences, mechanics, companies, too many differences to consider it a reasonable comparison.
Some people just fall out of love with this game and get bored. It's totally fine, it happens all time. Others will still play, and some will pick it up for the first time. It's not a foreboding sign.
Problem is not that the game seems to be dying to us since there's no way we can tell. Its the fact that the game we used to love is dying and its only understandable if we voice our concerns with hopes to be heard.
Like Mordo sp1 missing in RoL for example. How the hell does that happen, they can't even dex?!
Re: Alliance war becomes too heavy and too hard now
All nodes have been increased health, attack, and tons of new debuffs are atached to nodes besides of old debuffs.Bro, your officers baited you hard — handed you those enchantress placement nodes, watched you struggle, and now they’re gonna cook you in chat like it's your fault. I feel bad
Below are enchanchess, ussually got 3 points with7 r4 jugg, now no way to get points.
I dont know why got all types of damage passives from her after clearing all her spells and blocked sp1. And died because of those damages.
So Dev want to delete the motivations to fight ?
Re: Titan Crystal
I only have opened 2 titans and I pulled Gentle and Red Hulk (when I finished all the objectives of Fantastic Force Arcade). Many people don’t like Red Hulk but I’m a fan of Hulk so at first I felt a little sad but it’s just a game and I enjoy to play it
Can kabam reduce the price of sigil ? (Polite req)
I really liked this game , and i love to purchase that sigil everytime, also i have purchased it 3 times but in asia especially in India it costs a lot like in west u have to pay $9.9 and here in india we have to pay almost ₹999 ... Like i can recharge my phone for 6 months with ₹999

Re: Apocalypse Signature ability rework
I didn't even see a poll, where is the consensus? Did you set up a folding table in front of your local Walmart and started getting signatures for this?Like what I mentioned this rework reflects the general consensus, not just a personal opinion. We are a hive mind. Why are you agreeing? You are already speaking for him...Apocalypse could really use a tune-up. He is a very strong M.C.U. villain that does not live up to his reputation in game.Agreed

The future looks bleak
I really enjoy MCOC, but right now it’s feeling off. It seems like it’s getting worse day by day. Every step Kabam takes forward, they go two steps back. Here are the problems I see right now:
1. Fix the AI 🤖
It’s getting worse every single day. Players can adapt to challenges, but when AI behaves in unpredictable, unnatural, or outright broken ways, it stops being fun and just becomes frustrating.
2. Too much content in too little time
It’s great to get new things, but cramming too much in at once and then going dry for a while doesn’t feel right.
Here’s what’s happening on August 13:
• Fintech Celebration Quest
• Act 8 Crucible with all Act 8 bosses (the only thing worth looking forward to)
• Mini-Crucible
• Statcast Relics going live after being delayed from August 8
• AQ Event starting on top of everything else
(Thanks to RichTheMan for the daily info)
All of that is landing on the same day. It’s like you’re daring us to have a life outside of MCOC. More is good, but too much in too little time isn’t.
3. Inconsistent content quality
I understand making new content is hard and not everything will land but when feedback is ignored, we end up with misses like Heart of Fire. New ideas are welcome but actually listening to the community before releasing something would go a long way. Do market research, ask us directly, and follow through on what the majority of players actually want.
4. Battlegrounds is becoming pay to win 💸
Battlegrounds is supposed to be competitive, but right now it’s about who has the deeper pockets, not who has more skill. The Human Torch offer for 36k units (~$1,200) is absurd. I spend a bit, but I’m not going to go broke chasing every new champion and counter each month. Let’s just say it would require more than my wallet can handle.
F2p players get hit even harder, matched against rosters stacked with rank 4 7* champions. (I only have one 🥹.) This is especially important when you’re turning it into a live competitive event like the Battle Brawl. Monetization will ruin this mode if it keeps going down this path. Or just fix the parameters around matchmaking.
There are ways to make it fair. Have separate modes like “only 2* allowed” or “only villains allowed at 4*” where all champions in that mode are automatically maxed or unranked for the fight. That way, it’s mostly skill and some RNG for character selection. This also gives collectors a chance to flex rare or limited time champs without spending to win.
5. Comparisons to other games
I know it’s not good to compare as different games offer different things but I’m going to do it anyway.
Call of Duty, League of Legends, and Fortnite keep competitive modes fair by balancing gear, stats, and matchmaking so skill is the main factor. When one roster massively outclasses another in MCOC, the outcome is obvious before the fight even starts.
Other games have failed by ignoring balance in pvp like Star Wars: Battlefront II faced huge backlash when its multiplayer became heavily pay-to-win and mobile games like Heroes Charge and Game of War died out because keeping up in pvp required constant spending.
I also play Warframe and the difference in communication is massive. They have dev streams, clear patch notes, and constantly update players on fixes. Warframe has a ton of content, a free battle pass, and you can reach the top without spending a penny. People spend because they enjoy it, not because they feel forced.
This is just how I see it. Maybe you agree, maybe you don’t, that’s fine.
