BGS are not enjoyable
I’ve been playing MCoC for years now and have always appreciated how Battlegrounds gave both F2P and spending players a fair competitive space. But the current GC meta has completely ruined that balance, especially for F2P players like me.
This re-parry + stun-based meta demands that you:
Stun the opponent (which now depends on re-parry),
Time everything perfectly,
And worst of all, rely on the AI to cooperate.
Problem? The AI rarely does.
Re-parrying is clunky, unreliable, and doesn’t work consistently on all champs.
Dexing too much causes regen because you’re waiting for them to throw specials.
Passive AI becomes even worse when my deck is filled with Rank 3 champs and I face whale accounts full of Rank 4 champs. It’s just not a fair fight anymore.
Even with perfect inputs and strategy, I lose because the AI simply won’t throw specials, or I get punished trying to bait. This isn't fun. It’s not competitive. It’s stressful. BGs used to be a fun escape — now it just feels like work I don’t get paid for.
KABAM: If the AI isn’t controllable or fair, please don’t make metas that are AI-reliant. Give us metas that reward skill and roster diversity — not meta-specific champs and deck power inflation.
Until then, I’ll either stick to Victory Track or take a break entirely. This isn't the experience long-time F2P players deserve.

Something seems off. Kabam is playing with fire on this one. Give one free someone pulls 5k shards. Then someone buys one for 40 dollars and pull it again. They have now gambled by buying the second one and got an item they still get nothing for and now only option to actually get something for the money they spent is to now use units and buy more or keeping gambling and buy more keys which could end up taking 13 more keys.

With the free key, I pulled the 5k shards.. so will there be a way to earn 5k more soon or is this a predatory tactic to make me spend £40 for the other 5k???? All I see over YouTube is people pulling the 5k and can't help but think the odds are in favour of the 5k key pull for this very reason?

*sigh* ascension wasn't meant to keep 6* relevant forever. Only bridge the gap until people had easy access to r3 and r4 7*.The illiterate wont understand this

I didn't tell you to not have an opinion. But since you have zero experience in programming, app development, or anything related to those things, then you can't tell them how they should do their jobs better. Do you go to your mechanic and tell them how much blinker fluid to put in your car? When you're at the doctor, are you trying to correct them because you read something on Twitter?
How many people work at McDonald's and they still can't fix their flurry machines?
