How's mcoc in 2026

As some of you know I used to frequent the forums and be very involved with the game but for about 6ish months ive just been logging in haha. I have absolutely no idea what happens in this game i kid you not.

I don't watch livestreams, dont keep up with events, dont even have an alliance I basically just exist in the background. I think i stopped keeping up before banquet last year and just joined an alliance strictly for it and haven't cared since then.

I also recently discovered that the event quest has gone for some reason??? Weird?? Bug?? I have no idea.

Anyways I just wanted to be filled in on whats changed since my last post on here before I stopped being active.
Whats good whats bad. And most importantly, how's my baby dazzler doing meta wise in 2026 has she fallen off? Are we still riding jeans strap?

currently the game is running a live test to determine exactly how many units people will pay to simply never touch the dumpster fire knows battlegrounds again.

Starting at 2,500… easily passed that threshold. Waiting to see what the next threshold is….

Yep did the same thing. Had a TON in overflow after 9.4. No announcement on the trade in token but we had just had the mid-month stream about collectives. I ascended a bunch of champs only available as 6 stars just as you did such as OG Cap, OG Daredevil, Iron patriot, etc.

When they announced the trade in token like 2 days later I was annoyed but thought at least I boosted my collectives through the 6 stars. Then yesterday come to find out that even that consolation was non-existent. Two separate gut punches because Kabam does not plan anything out properly anymore. This year has been a disaster.

Did i just waste 3,000 T2 Primordial Dust?

Did i waste my dust on locked 6* champs when ascension doesn't matter on 6* and only on 7*? Or am I reading things wrong?

I definitely used them for collectives and so they didnt expire, but was also did this before there were any announcement of that trade in token, and i definitely ascended a bunch of 6* champs like Groot, Daredevil Classic, Airwalker, Annihilus, Cosmic Spidey, Ms. Marvel and Kamala Khan, Captain Marvel, Drake, ikaris, The Champion, Hela, Blackbolt, Rogue, Captain Marvel, thinking it would have mattered when the champs really have no business getting ascended....
