Best 4/55 option

I can take to rank 4/55 any cosmic or skill champion and I'm one mutant catalyst away to take ice man to rank 4/55. What would you do in my place?

Rank up Venom to 4/55

Wait for a better cosmic such as corvus, hype or medusa

Wait for a good skill option (blade, gwenpool or killmonger)

Wait for the mutant cat and go for iceman

Or wait for a long shot hoping to dupe my 3/45 dr voodoo and rank him up to 55

Venom is much better but still no god tier like iceman

Ice. Trust me, youll need the utility. People with monster attackers still suffer from lack of utility. You will never regret taking ice to r4.

Venom is a pimp now too, but iceman provides value all over the board. Great for questing, attack and defence in war and AQ.

Hard to say without knowing your roster or your current progress in the game, but assuming this is your first 4/55, I would go with Iceman. He has a lot of usefulness in a lot of different situations. Decent damage especially with detonations, can eat special three attacks, has some utility against passive evade, and triple immune. I suspect he will do the most for your progress and is a good choice to do now as opposed to waiting for something better.

The choice is always between rank now or save for later, and that choice comes down to whether you will get enough return on your investment that it is worth the bird in the hand over waiting a long time for the two in the bush. I think Iceman is one of those champs that can deliver on that return.

Never really liked iceman, he exists, he does things yyaaaay, venom comes and heavy attacks, bleeds and is all fancy, be stylish every once in a while
