Rank up Void 5*

So I have void at r3 5* and I can finally take him up to to r4. He’ll be my first r4.
The major thing is he is unduped.
I’ve more 5* but none of them past r2 are worth. It’s been patient game up till now.
But I think even unduped he’ll help me in questing and monthly events.
Wanted an opinion of all of you guys.
Other options are Hood(will be soon r3) and IMIW(at r3) but idk if he’s a better attacker.

PS: Any comments will be appreciated as well.

Carry on with the patience game.

He's really not that great untill he's awakened. His damage is quite poor and the regen/ powergain countering is a lot less consistent

I originally took my 5* Void to r4 unduped, but I had a specific reason for doing so: I run path 6 in AW and even unduped I could usually get kills safely and he was a safeguard against something otherwise unkillable on node 24. But if you don't have a requirement like that, I'd recommend waiting until either you awaken him or you pull something else that will help you even more right out of the gate. If you are constrained on T2A, I wouldn't spend them until I was spending them on something that would immediately help me a lot.

You say you could make use of him at r4 in questing and monthlies. If by that you mean he will help you become uncollected or complete uncollected monthly missions that you currently cannot complete or cannot complete without spending a lot of units, then rank him up. Those two things are worth it. If not, wait.

Rank him up to r4

You can put him on defense until duped. He will stop a lot of people. He will raise your prestige and won’t be that bad in content you are probably in.

IMIW is a decent alternative to rank up. But your first R4 should be for a champ that get through you with a lot of late game content. IMIW and unduped Void are not great for that.

Ya the UC monthlies I cannot do 100%. Recently have just beaten collector. I’m currently on 5.4.2. And when I complete act 5 I’ll get around 5 t2a. I already had some so they would have gone into overflow.

So I had to rank up someone. Among them, I chose void because if I ever get an AG I’ll use it on him. Plus his damage is decent. He might be one of my questing team members. Plus we do map4 and tier14-16 alliance war do no t4cc flowing. In any case I couldn’t have ranked up a character that soon before t2a expires.

I’m not in any way thinking of late game content. Wanted someone offensively to help do first clear of 5.4. Thought he might be good. If I ever awaken him, he’ll be so good.

I have him as R4, also my only R4 champ and it's unduped, the damage is not that brutal but the utility is awesome. I didn't think twice before ranking him up and have no regrets at all.

The dupped will come.
