Boss kills can be a little inflated because there's no harm to your score after the first three kills and potentially all ten attackers have a shot at it. In our most recent war I knew we were way ahead so I did not boost or use potions prior to engaging the boss and told everyone else to do likewise. We probably put a dozen kills into that boss before bringing it down, but that was because we were trying to do it cheaply, not quickly.
Still, even so that's a ton of kills. But a rank 1 6* boss is actually a fairly strong boss in the tier that alliance is in: I'm guessing based on rating maybe tier 11. Win or lose a boss kill is worth a significant amount of points so sometimes an alliance will go all out to defeat the boss if they think they can do it, particularly if they are close to a cutoff for a particular bracket.
Usually I feel a tiny bit sorry for the opponent when I see over a dozen kills.
This.
One guy put his 6* Korg as boss in my alliance as well yesterday.
He got 33 kills
BC corvus doesn't suit every path, maybe he has a duped 5* as well, or maybe he's fine with his other attackers and just wanted him to be the huge pain that he is in lower tiers
boss killers aren't boss kilers
something like this wont happen in upper alliance wars, in my gold 2 alliance, an unduped korg got 16 kills...not even counting the thorns he has for his sig.
not everyone also trains to beat X champion, but there are always resources out there especially on youtube on how to beat X champion.
but if every champion was as easy to beat like a winter soldier, then nobody would die in aw,
