The one time kabam decide to add a little flavour text to add more depth to a character by referencing that he's a ravager that is just out to make some units (the actual currency used in the galactic part of the marvel universe) and it's potentially going to be ruined because some people can not grasp that NO CHAMPION WILL EVER BE ABLE TO GENERATE THE GAMES PREMIUM CURRENCY.
You wonder why you're being reported for spam, well it's probably because you're just spamming the same idiotic argument over and over again, he was never going to generate units, ever.
Now stop trying to get something changed and just accept that any somewhat intelligent person understood that it was a little joke/reference to his character even if you did not.
Now you're calling my IQ into question. You know nothing about me. I have an estimated IQ of over 130, which is considered "superior intelligence". If you are reporting me for spam when I repeat my argument, why aren't you reporting literally everyone else as well? It doesn't matter if the argument is correct, they're repeating it, which is spam by your definition.

If you call me stupid, I'm gonna defend myself. And I actually have factual background for my arguments, unlike you guys.
Call it what you want at this point (joke, flavor text, etc), it is clear that the champ would never provide units to the summoner. Multiple people have told you and Kabam has told you. Your crusade to represent the less intelligent portion of the community will not gain traction.
Just give up on this one, it's going nowhere fast and you have minimal support at best. I really dislike having to pander to the least common denominator all the time, it shouldn't be too much for Kabam to assume people can accept a little eye wink in a description.

There was no eye wink. You aren't an idiot if you misinterpret something, especially something that nods at an in-game resource. Yes, I get it by now, but many don't. Many have already earned him in arena and are going to start getting confused when he doesn't give them units. What would you say to a guy who unloaded his wallet to get Yondu because he thought he would earn those units back? "You should've known it was a joke, idiot!". Really? Not everyone knows everything about Marvel, let alone this specific character, so even if it was obvious to those who know Yondu, there's going to be people who know nothing about Marvel and just have the game because it's fun. You can't expect people to assume something, especially when it's easy to assume two very different things out of that statement.
Couple points.
If you've noticed, they have a creative description with just about every Ability. That's part of creating an appealing storyline. It makes it interesting. When you're presenting a Champ, you want to do it in a way that is exciting, rather than just bare-bones. That's why they have a Spotlight, not a Data Sheet. It's not misleading, and it's not intended to confuse people. It's there to make it fun.
Secondly, they wouldn't offer a Champ that produces Units. That's common sense. Units can be earned, or purchased. Having a Champ that gives Units would create a whole series of imbalances. Not to mention defeat the purpose of Grinding for them and purchasing them.
It's a reference to Yondu's role. He's a Space Pirate. Pirates generally steal things to make a profit.
They are creative. They say things like "his enhanced immune system allow him to resist poison". This shows that he is immune to poison. But the Units thing was seemingly introducing a whole different concept, which enhanced the storyline but also made something untrue seem true. I understand that gaining Units from a certain character may unbalance things, but I along with many other assumed that Kabam would find a way to make it work. Kabam just needs to work on the wording and they'll be fine.
It's not that misleading. It was a playful reference. If it was factual, it would say: "Converts X amount of Armor into Y amount of Units.". Pretty sure most people realize a Champ won't produce Units.
Kabam said he produced units. I apologise for believing a character description. I should've known better than to believe something that has been credible since the game's release.
Where are these "many people" who you insist are under the impression Yondu would farm units for them? I only see you and maybe 2 other people of superior intellignece in this thread who thought that.

I don't know, maybe the same place all the other millions of summoners who play this game are... not here. Statistically speaking, with the percentage of people in this thread who though Yondu made units and the percentage of people who did not, there are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of summoners who still think he earns units. Let's just say 75k think this. You know what, some people have deleted the game, right? Let's chop a third of that off, which is pretty high. Now we still have about 50k who believe that Yondu should be giving them units. That's a lot.
Not everyone knows there's even a forum. Not everyone who knows there is a forum goes on to the forum. Not everyone who goes onto the forum checks the forum often. Not everyone who checks the forum often has even noticed that there is a new forum. Not everyone who has found the new forum participates in it. Not everyone who participates in it has seen this thread. Not everyone who has seen this thread has gone in and read this thread. Not everyone who has read this thread has commented on the thread and voiced their concern. There's a large number of people who think Yondu makes units.
And that's the end of this thread. I'm sorry that some of you may have been confused or angry that our character team made a joke in the Character description, but this whole situation is a huge over exaggeration, and not at all conducive to any real conversations. This is common in many games, and many different spaces. This isn't something we just invented, nor is it something that we haven't done before.
We have no plans at this time to change Yondu's descriptions.
