Cavalier Crystal Suggestion...

Kabam Team,
This new Cavalier Crystal has an 88% chance to award a champion you've locked out of Act6, which is pretty disappointing...
...what do you guys think about replacing the 3 and 4star champions with resources needed to exclusively rank up 5 and 6star champs? T2A frags, T5B frags, T5CC frags, even if it's a small amount, would be more useful that 3 and 4stat champs.
Thanks

To try to normalize the crystal drops and estimate the value of the crystal, let's assume 5* and 6* champs are worth the same thing and assume that the crystal just has a 12% chance to drop a 5* champ. That undervalues the crystal slightly. Let's also assume that the 4* drops are worth nothing except for the 5* shards they generate through duplication. I'm going to assume that the average player that can pull this crystal at all is going to get on average something between about one dup and two dups per pull (a dup, or a dup plus max sig crystal) so all the 4* pulls are just worth some number between 275 and 550 5* shards. I'm going to further assume that all the 3* pulls are just worth 100 4* shards (dup max sig, most of the time, occasionally something else). So my estimate for the value of the crystal's drops is:
12% of the time the crystal drops 5*
38% of the time the crystal drops 275-550 5* shards
50% of the time the crystal drops 100 4* shards.
100 4* shards is 1/20th or 5% of a 4* champ, and I'm valuing a 4* champ at between 275-550 5* shards. So 50% of the time the crystal drops 5% * (275-550) = 13.75 - 27.5 5* shard equivalent in value.
275 shards is 2.75% of a 5* basic crystal. 550 shards is 5.5% of a basic crystal. 13.75 shards is 0.1375% of a basic, and 27.5 is 0.275% of a basic crystal. So we end up with:
12% * (1 5* basic) + 38% * (2.75% - 5.5% 5* basic) + 50% * (0.1375% - 0.275% 5* basic)
12 + (1.045 to 2.09) + (0.06875 to 0.1375) = 13.11375% to 14.2275% of a basic 5* crystal.
That means in overall average terms it takes between 7.0 and 7.6 Cavalier crystals to pull a 5* (or higher) champ. That means you're getting 5* or higher about once every 1400 to 1520 units of expense, factoring in the fractional 5* value of the 4* and 3* drops.
To put it another way, the 3* and 4* champs in the crystal contain about 10-20% of the value of the crystal, even if the only thing you care about is 5* or higher champs. That's not bad at all.

300 units? I can't put enough question marks at the end of that.
Each row. <—> was a group of 10
It was a lot of fun today.
