Is this game becoming too difficult and frustrating (and not fun anymore) for the average summoner?

I have been playing this game for over 2 years and I absolutely love it. This is the only game I play on my phone and invest a lot of time in it. But lately I feel that Kabam is raising the difficulty bar in many of the quests so high that this game doesn't feel fun to play sometimes.

For example, the recent Nick Fury's Recon Initiative quest boss fight is designed so poorly that you end up spending a lot of units and yet you can't get past the boss (the final unblockable phase is super frustrating). Ofcourse there are many players for whom this fight is very easy, but again they make up maybe 1% of the summoners. I, like most of the summoners out there, am an average player. So why is Kabam focusing on the top 1% and ignoring the majority? This is really upsetting and frustrating and making many players quit this game. Kabam should know where to draw the line between fun and frustration, and I really hope they do. Because at the end of they day we want this game to be fun and enjoyable and not something that frustrates you and makes you want to throw your phone.

Became unfun after 12.0. This game is terrible...that's why I been playing msf most of the time

Fact of the matter is the game difficulty has gotten out of hand. This is not the same game it once was. It is all about the nodes they have created. They tell us that the intention is to make it more challenging but in all reality it is to force us to spend. Look at uncollected EQ. One path you cant hit them while blocking and another path you have to hit them while blocking. Forced to change the way you play. Mabey we like the way we play. We also now have to acquire the right champs but it takes forever to get them as a 5*. 4* cant even play Act 6. Everyone talks about skill in the game. Did we forget that it is a game? The best games give all players the opportunity to compete. We have to wait so long to get what we need to get the resources to rank up the players that will make a difference if and only if you are lucky enough to acquire them. This is the facts regardless of your skill level.

So it isn't skill learning to adapt your style of play to the content at hand?

Honestly... What do you want? Same old **** but just jacked up PI?

You have the opportunity to compete. It's called Master level. You're obviously not ready for Epic yet if you're whining about liking your style of play as it is. You want Epic rewards on a Master budget (if that).

Just for the record, I have completed the Intel Missions last month 100% and complete all difficulties on this months Bounty Missions. With monthly Unlcollected EQ, I always make one run and 100% chapters 1 and 2. If I have enough credits available, may also complete chapter 3 100%. Having been playing too much areana so haven't been getting too many credits lately. Please refrain from judging. Not all of us summoners have Blade, Domino or Corvus as a 5*. We work with what we have. I don't even have a maxed 5*. I might have one by the end of this month. There is 2 aspects to the game: Skill and the right champs. I do well with what I have and never force myself to have to use resource to beat content too hard for my team. With some nodes, you absolutely need the right champs to beat it.

A new perspective. I have just R5 my first 5*. Venom. There is so much difference between an R4 5* and a R5 5*. I hope people stop comparing apples to oranges. Different champs and different ranks make a world of difference. PERIOD!!!!!!!

Umm... So what? I did the same thing. I usually can complete Uncollected and then work on exploring until I think it'll be too much of a unit/resource drain, and I stop.

Why do you think you deserve to fully explore Epic? Because you want the rewards? Well guess what... You're on the slow path. Get used to it. There is no instant gratification. Just because you have limits in skill, ability or champs, doesn't mean content is out of hand.

I truly don't get why people have some sense of entitlement in this game. Heck, I wish there was something below variant but way above the basic version. There is a big disparity and no master level. Haven't really complained. I just do other stuff and stop if I'm bored or it's too much of a resource drain. Sometimes I exit out and go back with different champs or wait until there is a decent champ I can rank to give it another go. If it's a worthwhile rank and not just for that particular quest.

There are a lot of things to complain about with this game and company. But the entitled expectations of completing difficult content is annoying as hell.

Difficult? No. Unfun? yes. First of all no thought or creativity is put into EQ bosses. Basically all have unblockable and/or healing that you need to get around. While this rinse and repeat design strategy fulfills the sole purpose of cash grab against lower players who rush in without strategy or force their way through due to lack of skill it really isnt that challenging.

The constant bugs that Kabaam takes their sweet time fixing if at all are annoying. They should really try testing first but again probably dont care cause bugs=money.

Objectives. Could have been cool but Crystal's ate garbage and for many of us the choice is sell champs or pass on it.

Next War Season. Is it coming? A magic 8 ball will give you a better answer than Kabaam. No answer to the delay reason or possible release. Thanks for the transparency.

AQ. Thanks for silent nerfing the sentinels special 1 and pretending to fix it. Still is different timing from before.

    Like I said. Not fun
