Here's the reality of the situation, this event, LIKE MANY is dated and stale. Simple as that. The OP has a legitimate point. When compared to other Solo Events of the same caliber (22 hour events) this one feels EXCESSIVELY TEDIOUS for the return. Level Up, you get bonus stuff (not amazing stuff, but still useful) for advancing your roster. Arena Wins, easily allocated if you're already doing the arena Grind, and again, bonus stuff. Hero Use, once again extra stuff for doing what you're already doing. Win, win right?
Then there's Event Completion... you could time your 100% run through 1 difficulty of the EQ and STILL miss the mark. What's the sense in chasing your tail for the minimal returns on an event such as this? There really isn't any sense in it is the long and the short of it. Then there's the added insult to injury of it appearing again AFTER you've chased it once and cleared everything already for the EQ. Especially this EQ as it's 6 weeks long. It's just dated content that really isn't helping as many as it potentially COULD.
So yes, LONG OVERDUE for some changes. If the returns actually matched the work put in, more would do it, and less would disagree with the OP. I would be HAPPY to see it scraped or redone. Either way we win. Would mean seeing any of the semi-useful 3 more often, or seeing #4 be USEFUL. Stating otherwise makes no sense. When the ease of the other 3 are so apparent and then there's this blatant misfire in the mix... it's just a waste of potential. F2P players who grind their little hearts out are forced to burn excess items for diminishing returns. Even P2P players have little to nothing to gain from this event. I ask, who benefits from this event as it currently stands? Not even Kabam can benefit as much as they potentially COULD if it were more useful to the playerbase. Seems pretty straightforward to me. Maybe I'm missing something here? Lol
I think this event should definite be stacked next. I love the solo events because you can get about 150 units a week from them (ish) I don’t think I’ve ever hit te event quest completion. It requires units or your energy refill stash.
definitely should revamp that solo quest to something better.
Vanquishing blow was a great idea Creating a new event for solo with different rewards like they did for the 24 hour alliance event.

I’d love to see the % of players who hit the 25 unit mark for this event versus the others.
I checked the leaderboard. The Summoner rank 199 has base hero rating below 300k, in a Silver 3 alliance. There must be something to be done to hit those milestone which I am missing

@Pulyaman There you go. You said it. ONCE. After that, it's useless and POINTLESS. In an EQ that's 6 weeks long, how many times has it ALREADY appeared, and will CONTINUE to appear? Now do you see the problem? The rewards are meh, and the effort is too great for meh rewards. Simple as that. Be honest, are you gonna blow excess items to complete this again, and again, and AGAIN during this timeframe? Doesn't sound like it. Yet, there it will be, wasting our time and potential for reward output.

Oh 1 L1 revive, 25 units, some low grade rank up junk, low gold, Solo shards (barf), oh and 1 of each 3 and 4* sig stone crystals. It's dated, and essentially a waste of space. Get it now? This is the problem and it's clearly being overlooked by a select few here. I broke it all down above. Simple stuff. It's old, and becoming pointless due to the tedious nature of the event. @SiriusBreak I agree with you, i was just saying that to @GroundedWisdom , he is not the only one to not achieve it, unless you are willing to waste some units to achieve, the event completion event is pointless. I plan once an eq to do it, twice if the event is long. I don't want it to be scrapped, more like tuned to get the milestones easier
I do it once or twice a month. Other than that, it comes and goes. Of course, I also don't believe that all Events need to be done everytime they pass. Level-Up alone eats away at Gold if you do it every pass. Arena Wins is an easy one for me. I'm a Grinder. Hero Use is probably the easiest. Besides, it's 25 Units, an L1 Rev, and a couple Sigs. Not really worth trying to meet every one of them if it means stressing about it.
But that's just the point @GroundedWisdom . Look at the ease in Hero Use and Arena vs Event Quest Completion. It's just overdue for a revamp is the point. Heck, all could due for some love IMO. With all the progress title scaling in rewards elsewhere in the game, why not extend this to the Solo Events to make them more appealing? Would certainly help justify chasing them, yah know? This would also help the rank rewards get divvied out to more players and increase the desire to grind various aspects of the game. Each Tier would be competing against others closer to their progress vs being pitted against everyone. Heck, they recently added some extra bonus items to the Alliance 1 day events. Solo needs some love next, especially Event Quest Completion.
Be that as it may, this one in particular isn't quite like the hit and miss nature of the other 3. This one is hit once, MAYBE twice and miss the rest.

This month just did heroic thanos. I stopped at the units but it took me all of 10 mins to get there
But we also must remember that Kabam does not want us "farming" quests. Their intent is for us to do each path once and never see it again.
