Thing unfair?

If you building up a combo against thing and he gains unstoppable he breaks off your combo and go straight to sp3
But we cant do that!
In my opinion this is unfair.

You need to pay attention to his rock charges is all. Hit him once when he is at 15 and break off.

When fighting thing and he approaches 15 charges dash back and make him go into block and hit his block to get it above 15 stacks and bait a special. It will remove charges. It's doable. GP is a good counter but there are others. Also Inb4 git gud

yea he is, he always fire off specials at 12, 13 or 14 rock armor so most of the time impossible to get him to 15 while he has 1 or 2 bars.
the ai know that if it fire special when at 15 rock armor it will lose them all so the ai does everything it can to use specials before it get to 15 rock armor.
this game is only about knowledge and reaction time, but some ai just F you over by preventing you from doing what it know you want to do

umm, you dont want to get him to 15 rock charges, if you can get the AI to shred those in advance that is a good thing...

Jus fight him with a bleed champ. If bleed activates on him he loses rock charges

He’s ok if you know how he works but would be a problem for newer players since he’s quite different to the way you fight normal champions.

There are ways to fight around his Rock Stacks; but the effect of his SP3 seems unfair to me - I just don't really think any champion should get an eight second period of Unstoppable and Unblockable as part of their base kit.

In a game with All or Nothing, Power Start 2, and suchlike, that just seems insanely overpowered; even with two champions that can inflict Slow debuffs.

Yes you do if you aren't using a bleeder. He will burn all the charges with a special attack.

Yes you do... can beat him with anyone if you bait specials whenever he has 15 charges as he loses all of them

Nah, he's definitely annoying but not too rough if you play careful and smart. Bleeders remove rock stacks each time a bleed would proc. Or, you could get him to 15 rock stacks and bait a special to remove all of them. But if he has 15 rock stacks and no special ready, just parry him and hit him once while stunned, back off right away before he comes out of stun, and then just get back to it..

Well, makes sense because it should be only a fair amount less than Hulk, since Hulk usually wipes the floor with Thing and Hulk’s kit is so insanely amped...uh...hang on...wait a minute...

Guessing you all forgetting that this month he got a node called kinetic transference -2 which means kind hard to keep his rock stacks at bay

If you need very specific champs to counter another champ, rather than specific champs to counter a node, chances are that they're overpowered. If you need to start building your roster around specific champions AND specific nodes, you'll reach a point where you can't fit enough champions into those 5 slots.

Best I have in my roster for fighting Thing is CAIW.

Rinse and repeat SP1 and glance damage if you need to block an attack or two to get to an SP1.

I won't disagree that he is not fun to fight but like all champions in the game he has a counter. Just play around his abilites and he's not that bad.
