    In a world where every champion procs buffs every couple seconds and starts auto-blocking when they have less than 15% health, Venom would be better than those two.

    In general, I think Blade is the better choice. As @Raganator says, he saves potions and units, and can do so into Act 6. I think he's starting to get significantly undervalued these days, especially by people who think his only worth is Danger Sense.

    Honestly I have all three at rank 5 (Blade, Sparky, Venom) and I find them all situationally very useful. I think they are all worth it, and it depends on what the individual player needs most at the moment. But I ranked Blade to r5 very early on, and never regretted that decision.

    Did it with a r5 tech gem. Probably wont have done it without. Quite glad with the result however, even though he's a bit of a glass canon. With a couple of others r5 (Cap, Domino, Ghost, Hyperion and Namor), I'll probably wont use him for act 6.
