    Anti-Matter Energy Absorption Physiology: Theoretically, it seems to be the main source of Blue Marvel's power. This source of power is the energy released from anti-matter which derives from the dimension called the Negative Zone.[2] Anti-matter is the same as normal matter except that the sub-atomic particles are the opposite charge. Therefore, anti-matter and normal matter cannot coexist without exploding. CERN was the first to synthesize particles of anti-matter on Earth in 1995, keeping them in a magnetically charged vacuum to keep it from coming in contact with normal matter. Nuclear fission releases energy with 1.5% efficiency; anti-matter releases energy with 100% efficiency. One gram of anti-matter contains the same energy as the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. One droplet could power New York City for a full day. Adam Brashear is the first human anti-matter generator and reactor. The experiment he gained his powers from renders his form unaffected from anti-matter. Blue Marvel was considered to be an Alpha Level Threat by Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Tony Stark.[36]

    Superhuman Strength: Blue Marvel possesses vast levels of superhuman strength, capable of lifting excess 100 tons.[37] He was seen as capable of effortlessly lifting the 1960 era's American warship Enterprise [1] which weighs over 93,000 tons.[38] The Blue Marvel is capable of greater feats of strength as when he effortlessly moved a meteor "easily the size of Arkansas."[1] The Watcher states that Adam is capable of splitting the Moon into two with a blow.[4] He was able to directly engage Iron Man, Ares, Wonder Man, and Ms. Marvel in combat at the same time and casually overpower them.[10] He is strong enough to push the Sentry to the limits of his strength and knock him into Earth's orbit with a single punch.[10] He even managed to ultimately defeat in physical combat the powerful King Hyperion, who had slaughtered numerous other incarnations of Blue Marvel as well as heroes of multiple worlds (including Hercules, and Thor of his own Earth,[39] as well as the Sentries, Hulks, Thors, and Eternals of other worlds.[11] When he and the Ultimates confronted their Earth-1610 counterparts he was able to defeat their Hulk with just one punch.[40]
    Nigh Invulnerability: The Blue Marvel has survived a hydrogen bomb blowing up in his hands unfazed.[41] He was capable of withstanding blows from a large collection of superhumans made up of Ms. Marvel, Ares, Iron Man, Wonder Man, and Sentry unharmed. Blue Marvel can also breathe and survive in space.[42] He can also survive in a nuclear explosion without being harmed.[2]
    Anti-Matter Manipulation: Blue Marvel can absorb and generate vast amounts of anti-matter energy for various effects.
    Concussive Force Bolts: Blue Marvel can release anti-matter energy from his hands as bolts of concussive force.
    Stun Bolts: Blue Marvel can project low-energy of anti-matter bolts that render human beings unconscious.
    Energy Pulse: Blue Marvel can release all of his body's anti-matter energy as a massive omnidirectional pulse of devastating power.
    Flight: Blue Marvel flies by manipulation of gravitons, manipulation of magnetic fields, control of his absolute molecular movement, and utilizing his superhuman speed. Blue Marvel can fly far beyond supersonic speeds. He has been seen flying into space unaided under his own power.[4]
    Longevity: Blue Marvel ages much slower and lives much longer than normal human beings.[22]
    Matter Manipulation: Adam can also manipulate material bonds as well as he can control and manipulate anti-material and energy. Able to do so from the molecular to particle levels as he was capable of producing new particles to repair the damages to Spectrum's light form.[14]
    Energy Manipulation: Blue Marvel was able to re-arrange the photons in Spectrum (Monica Rambeau)'s body to stop the anti-photons from destroying her body and made her stronger and more powerful, strong enough to take down a tiny shadow of Shuma-Gorath.[14]
    Enhanced Mental Perception/Hyper-Cosmic Awareness: Blue Marvel possesses the ability to sense & comprehend things on levels that far exceed human capabilities. He can perceive different sensory spectra beyond the regular norm. Superior Spider-Man once likened him to being his own Electron Microscope,[14] enabling him to see into Spectrum's damaged energy form in order to repair what Proxima had done. Later he would expand his consciousness further through one of his inventions to find out about the imprisonment of conceptual existence.[25]
    Abilities
    Super-Genius Intelligence: Adam Brashear is a genius in the field of theoretical physics and has made extraordinary strides in the study of antimatter.[2] According to Reed Richards, Adam's intellect matches that of Doctor Doom.[43]

    Trained Combatant: He has been trained by the US Marines in armed and unarmed combat.[1][2]

    Athlete: Brashear is also a highly talented football player though he is out of practice.[1]

    Physical Strength
    Class 100+, Adam is capable of lifting far in excess of 100 tons easily. He is stated to be in the same league as the Sentry, Hulk, and Thor.[37] Namor also stated that the only other beings who have hit him as hard as Blue Marvel were Hulk and Thor.[6]

    Weaknesses
    Neutronium: Blue Marvel appears to be only weak against this substance from the Neutral Zone.[17]

    Due to bombardment by extra-dimensional energies, Rambeau can transform herself into any form of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum. Among the many energy forms she has assumed and is able to control are cosmic rays, gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet radiation, visible light, electricity, infrared radiation, microwaves, radio waves, and neutrinos. By assuming an energy-form, she gains all of that energy's properties.

    She is invisible and intangible in many of her energy forms (the most frequent exception being visible light), and is capable of flight in all her energy forms (reaching velocities up to and including light speed). She also has the ability to project these energies from her body while she is in human form (only one wavelength of energy at a time), usually in the form of energy blasts from her hands. She mentally controls both the type and quantity of energy she wishes to transmit. The maximum amount of energy she can transmit at a given time is unknown. Rambeau can also divert small amounts of various energies for employment as force beams, which have the equivalent to 300 tons of TNT of explosive force. A variation of this ability enables her to project light-based holographic illusions of herself. Rambeau has also shown the ability to split her energy form into several miniature energy forms that are under her mental command, each miniature Rambeau is able to react and fly at light-speed.

    When she encounters a new or unfamiliar energy, Rambeau can often duplicate it given enough time for analysis.[71] Rambeau tends to be physically insubstantial in her energy forms, though with concentration and effort she can sometimes perform tasks such as briefly grasping an object, either by partially solidifying or by applying some sort of force to the object in question.

    She is immortal and does not age beyond her prime.[72]

    When Rambeau temporarily lost her original powers after a massive energy expenditure,[38] she developed the ability to shunt any mechanical energy directed towards her through a dimensional interface surrounding her body, granting her increased strength, resistance to impact, and the ability to fly. After Rambeau asked Reed Richards to examine these new abilities, he theorized that she accessed the same dimension from which she derived her energy powers to create the interface.[40]

    Rambeau has strong leadership skills and law enforcement experience due to both of her time as a police officer and former leader of the Avengers. She is an excellent markswoman, unarmed combatant, detective, and swimmer with extensive nautical expertise. She has received Harbor Patrol training, and Avengers training in unarmed combat by Captain America.

    Limitations
    Rambeau is able to retain her energy form for several hours with no ill effects.[73] She can only transform herself into one wavelength of energy at a time, but she can transform between one energy-state and another in a fraction of a second. Extensive energy transformation and manipulation can be physically taxing once she re-assumes her physical form. Rambeau can also be forcibly reverted to her original form by other forces.[74]

    Superhuman Strength: Gilgamesh is among the physically strongest of the Eternals. While the limit of Gilgamesh's strength was unknown, he was capable of lifting well in excess of 100 tons.[36]

    Superhuman Speed: Gilgamesh could run and move at speeds superior to that of the finest human athlete.[36]

    Superhuman Stamina: Gilgamesh's highly advanced musculature generated considerably less fatigue toxins than the musculature of ordinary humans, and most other Eternals for that matter. Gilgamesh could physically exert himself at peak capacity for several days before fatigue began to impair him.[36]

    Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Gilgamesh's body were much harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of an ordinary human, and most other Eternals. He could withstand powerful energy blasts, great impact forces, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, and falls from great heights without injury.[36]

    Superhuman Agility: Gilgamesh's agility, balance, and bodily coordination were all enhanced to levels beyond the natural limits of even the finest human athlete.[36]

    Superhuman Reflexes: Gilgamesh's reflexes were similarly enhanced and were superior to those of the finest human athlete.[36]

    Cosmic Energy Manipulation: Gilgamesh could project powerful beams of cosmic energy from his hands for a variety of uses including blasts of concussive force, beams of concentrated heat, and blasts that could rearrange most objects and materials on a molecular level.[36]

    Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his resistance to injury, it was possible to injure Gilgamesh. However, if Gilgamesh retained psionic control over his body, he could, eventually, regenerate any damaged or destroyed bodily tissue.[36]

    Immortality: Gilgamesh was functionally immortal. He was immune to the effects of aging and hadn't aged since reaching adulthood. He was also immune to the effects of all known Earthly diseases and infections, though this didn't mean that he couldn't be killed.[36]

    He also stated to have been gifted with some form of awareness by the Dreaming Celestial.[13]

    Superhuman Stamina: Thena possesses incredible stamina, allowing her to operate at her peak for far longer than an ordinary human.

    Pseudo-Vampirism: Morbius has been transformed into a being similar to a vampire and, as a result, possesses a number of superhuman abilities similar to those possessed by true vampires. Morbius is not a true vampire as the source of his transformation is scientific, not mystical.[3] However, mystical elements have occasionally been introduced into his system, complicating the issue.[5]

    Superhuman Strength: Morbius possesses super-human strength (the extent of which depends on the amount of blood he has ingested and the type of blood). At his peak, Morbius possesses sufficient superhuman strength to lift approximately 1,500 lbs.[69]

    Superhuman Speed: Morbius can run and move at speeds that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.[70]

    Superhuman Stamina: Morbius' enhanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.[70]

    Superhuman Agility: Morbius' agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.[70]

    Superhuman Reflexes: Morbius' reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.[70]

    Superhuman Acute Senses: Morbius' senses of sight and smell are enhanced to levels well beyond that of normal humans. Morbius is able to detect objects with perfect clarity at much greater distances than a normal human. He retains this clarity, even in near-total darkness. He is also able to see into the infra-red end of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing him to see individuals at night by their body heat. His sense of smell is similarly enhanced, able to detect the scent of blood in the air from miles away.[71]

    Regenerative Healing Factor: Like true vampires, Morbius possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables him to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissues much faster and more extensively than a normal human. Injuries such as gunshots, slashes, and severe burns heal within hours or minutes, depending upon their severity. Though highly developed, Morbius' healing powers aren't sufficient to regenerate missing limbs or organs.[5]

    Fangs & Claws: Like supernatural vampires, Morbius possesses elongated canines that he uses to pierce the flesh of other beings for the purpose of consuming their blood. Morbius can also, however, use his fangs as weapons in very close combat situations. He also possesses a single retractable claw at the tip of each finger. The claws are very sharp, capable of rending human flesh and bone with ease.[3]

    Psionic Gliding: Through mental concentration, Morbius is able to glide through the air over short distances. However, Morbius can only glide at speeds of about 35 miles an hour.[69]

    Mesmerism: After absorbing elements of the Lilin into his bloodstream, Morbius gained the ability to hypnotize others if they look directly into his eyes long enough. While under his control, Morbius typically has full control over an individual. If an individual has sufficient willpower, they can resist or overcome this power.[72]

    Vampire Creation: Like true vampires, Morbius is able to transform individuals into pseudo-vampires like himself by draining them of all their blood. Morbius has control over the pseudo-vampires he creates, just as supernatural vampires have mental control over the vampires they create. The vampires that Morbius creates possess superhuman strength but do not possess accelerated healing factors. Upon receiving lethal injuries, their bodies turn to dust.[73]

    Immunity To Most Vampire Vulnerabilities: As Morbius isn't a supernatural vampire, he is immune to all of the special mystical vulnerabilities that they have. He is unaffected if confronted with religious icons like crucifixes and will not incinerate if exposed to direct sunlight. Morbius does tend to rest during the hours of the day, but does not have any of the consequences of vampirism that supernatural vampires face during the daylight hours. Morbius also has no special vulnerability to objects or weapons composed of silver, or wooden stakes driven through his heart.[69]

    Virtual Immortality: Morbius claims that he doesn't age.[74]

    Abilities

    Genius Intelligence: Morbius is a brilliant scientist specializing in biochemistry. He is also able to put his hand to various other scientific disciplines,[75] having won the Nobel Prize for biochemistry.[19]

    While he has had no formal training, Morbius' powers make him a formidable combatant against most individuals.[76]

    Weaknesses

    Hunger: The one true weakness Morbius has that supernatural vampires possess is that he must ingest fresh blood several times a week in order to maintain his physical and mental vitality. The longer he goes without blood, the weaker he becomes and the more likely he is to lose control.

    Sunlight: While he can't be killed by sunlight, his eyes and skin are sensitive to exposure to sunlight.[3]

    Mental Instability: Morbius has suffered through suicidal ideation of multiple occasions, desiring to end his 'unlife' when unable to cure himself of his condition. He has also been shown to suffer through visual and auditory hallucinations representing his hunger when he goes without feeding.[38]

    Lycanthropy: Jack Russell can transform himself into a werewolf, which is a human/wolf hybrid of supernatural origin, through sheer force of will, usually by meditating on the image of a full moon. While in that form, he retains his normal intellect, is capable of speech (with some difficulty), and looks more like the classic werewolf. During a full moon, however, he changes involuntarily, loses his cognitive abilities, and looks more like a wolf than a human.

    Superhuman Strength: The Werewolf possesses superhuman strength. While in his intermediate form, he is able to lift about 1,500 lbs. His more wolf-like form, during a full moon, is somewhat more powerful and he is capable of lifting 1 ton. His strength also extends into the muscles of his legs, allowing him to leap, from a crouch, roughly 18 feet into the air.

    Superhuman Stamina: The Werewolf's musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human, granting him superhuman levels of stamina. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.

    Superhuman Agility: The Werewolf's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

    Superhuman Reflexes: The Werewolf's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are roughly twice as fast as those of the finest human athlete.

    Superhuman Speed: The Werewolf's speed is similarly enhanced and is way faster than the finest human athlete, being nearly invisible during the night.[12]

    Superhumanly Acute Senses: The werewolf has superhumanly acute senses of sight, smell, and hearing similar to those of an actual wolf. He can see part of the infrared spectrum and thus detect the heat signatures of objects or people in total darkness. He can smell other living creatures within 100 feet (when upwind) and follow a scent over nearly any terrain. He can hear the sound of a heartbeat in a cave at a distance of 30 feet.

    Superhuman Durability: The tissues of his body are considerably harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of an ordinary human. Jack is capable of withstanding low caliber bullets,[13] great impact forces, falls from great heights, and exposure to temperature without sustaining injury.

    Claws and Teeth: The Werewolf's claws and teeth are extremely sharp and tough, enabling him to rend through a variety of substances including fabric, wood, cinderblock, and even some metals.

    Regenerative Healing Factor: The Werewolf is capable of regenerating damaged or destroyed areas of his body with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. Injuries that result in massive tissue damage such as bullet wounds, slashes, punctures, blunt force trauma, and severe burns heal completely, without so much as a scar, in a short amount of time. His ability to heal is at least 10 times that of a human. His ability to heal is so advanced that he can regenerate his own head after having it blown away by Deadpool.[14][11]

    The Werewolf is a formidable hand to hand combatant, although he has had no formal training. He also has some expertise in dealing with occult and supernatural forces.

    The Werewolf has a special vulnerability to objects or weapons composed of silver. Silver is useful against many supernatural or demonic creatures due to its mystical purity. If he receives what would be a fatal injury to an ordinary human, such as being shot through the heart, with a silver bullet, he will die within a matter of minutes. If he is merely injured by a silver weapon, it will take him much longer to heal than it would from being injured by a weapon composed of conventional material.

    Passive - Aura of Corruption

    •When the opponent is knocked down by Blackheart's special attacks, he activates an Aura of Corruption for 10 seconds. For every buff corrupted, Aura of Corruption is paused for 2 seconds

    •Aura of Corruption attacks the opponent's very soul and converts their buff's positive effects into negative effects if the opponent is too close for 1.5 seconds or longer. One buff can be corrupted every 1.5 seconds. Cosmic champion buffs corrupted every 0.5 seconds and science champs every 5 seconds. The negative effects remain for as long as Aura of Corruption is active.

    •Lacking a soul, robot champions cannot be corrupted, thus making them immune to corruption effects.

    •Being knocked down by a science champ immediately disables Aura of Corruption and goes on cooldown for 10 seconds.

    -Regeneration buffs corrupted become essence steal debuffs that siphon health from the opponent by 20% per buff corrupted.

    -Armor up buffs corrupted are armor shattered debuffs by 15 seconds per buff corrupted.

    I mean… the Young Avengers aren’t technically individual wildcard characters but more of a story arc idea for 3 months of the year. I’d wager Iron Lad & Patriot would have the most synergy boosts starting off followed by Hawkeye & Stature & finally Hulkling & Wiccan but I think it’d make for some great storytelling. Not to mention the first Gay Superhero couple in MCOC would add plenty of diversity to the cast of champs as a whole. Northstar & Aurora would also be cool because of Alpha Flight, the X-Men & the fact that Northstar is also a gay Hero & I’m pretty sure he was the first openly gay hero in Marvel… so that’s great for diversity & it represents more Canadian culture aside from Wolverine & his family/rogues… also it kinda brings more French characters into the fold since the only other French character is Guillotine.

  • Hello! I would like to suggest some characters i would like to see in Marvel Contest of Champions, reasons why and basic moveset ideas

    Number one: Avalanche

    He's a greek mutant with no revealed past besides coming from Greece. He has the power to generate seismic waves and has been a relatively prominent member of the brotherhood of mutants. However, he is very underrepresented in marvel media outside of comics. So, why not add him?

    His main attacks would be punches and kicks with the occasional use of his mutant power to generate seismic waves.


    Number two: Hobgoblin

    He was a guy who found a bunch of the gadgets Norman Osborne used as the Green Goblin. He took the items and upgraded them and then replicated and enhanced the Goblin formula. He's an extremely cool character but another one who is very underrepresented outside of comics.

    He would play very similarly to the Green Goblin, only maybe with bigger damage output.


    Cap Wolf:

    One time Captain America was investigating a series of werewolf-related murders when he bumped into the villain Nightshade, who used her werewolf syrum to turn cap into a werewolf. The super soldier syrum protected cap from giving into his savage instincts, but with no way to turn back he fought crime as a werewolf.

    His moveset would include attacks similar to those of the regular cap, but would also include werewolf things like biting and scratching

    Shark Girl:

    She was an ordinary girl living in Brazil until her mutant powers awoke and she began feeling hungry for flesh and turned into a humanoid shark. She was taken in by Professor X as a student at the X-Mansion. She would be a great character to have to represent the X-Mansion students since there aren't many of them in this game.

    Her moveset would have her punch, kick, bite, among other shark things.


    Comic book Ultron:


    Not much to say, it would basically just be Ultron but in his comic book design. Essentially a re-skin of Ultron.


    Graviton:

    A researcher for S. H. I. E. L. D who was caught in an accident that gave him gravity powers. He became the super villain Graviton and would eventually join A. I. M

    Would have gravity-based attacks like making stones rise, throwing objects at the opponent, etc.

    With the new trap mechanic added with Kraven I think 2 champs that could utilize the new mechanic best would be Arcade & Trapster.

    They both have a solid amount of boosts already… though they could both use a little more before being added to the game, like Arcade with Mettle & Trapster with Wizard. Those are another 2 champs that could make a big splash in the contest & although Mettle is a very left field character, I’ve seen a lot of Hazmat suggestions & they were both romantically involved with eachother before Mettle’s death. But Wizard & Trapster could be added right away & they could have synergies with Medusa, FF members, Spider-men, Kraven for Trapster & any of the genius villains in the contest already for Wizard. I’m not too sure who else Trapster could be paired off with for synergy boosts but I’m sure Kabam could fill in the blanks with other new champs down the line, like Sandman who already has plenty of syn potential, other low tier villains like Trapster such as Shocker, Boomerang & Melter who all have a reasonable amount of syn potential in the contest. Not to mention they’re some of the more obscure characters in Marvel who I personally would like to see get some attention.

    Not only that but Melter opens the door for Masters of Evil champs being added like Radioactive Man, Klaw, Grim Reaper, Baron Zemo, the villainous Black Knight, etc.

    Superhuman Speed: Dracula is capable of running and moving at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete.

    Superhuman Stamina: Dracula's body is more resistant to the fatigue toxins generated by his muscles during physical activity. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to affect him.

    Superhuman Agility: Dracula's ability, balance, and body coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural limits of the human body.

    Superhuman Reflexes: Dracula's natural reaction time is enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural limits of the human body.

    Regenerative Healing Factor: Dracula is capable of regenerating damaged or destroyed tissue to an extent much greater than an ordinary human. Dracula can fully heal from multiple gunshots and severe burns within a matter of minutes, however, he cannot regenerate missing limbs or organs.

    Immortality: Dracula, like all vampires, is functionally immortal in the sense that he is immune to the effects of aging and is immune to all known Earthly diseases as long as he ingests fresh blood on a regular basis to maintain his vitality. Once killed, Dracula's power is such that he can resurrect himself under the proper conditions. if incinerated (as by sunlight or fire), Dracula can reconstitute himself if his ashes are placed in a coffin filled with soil from his homeland. If staked through the heart, Dracula can regenerate once the stake is removed.

    Fangs: Like all vampires, Dracula has fangs and claws. He can quickly drain a victim of blood.

    Hypnotism: Dracula is able to hypnotize others by gazing into their eyes for a short period of time. As Lord of Vampires, Dracula can compel other vampires to follow his orders unless their willpower is strong enough to resist him.

    Shapeshifting: Dracula is able to shapeshift into bats, rats, a wolf, and mist. He can also turn into human-sized or larger wolfen and bat-like forms.

    Sorcery: Dracula is a very powerful magician. He is able to summon and command lesser vampires, undead, packs of wild dogs, bats, and rats.

    Weather Manipulation: He has considerable control over the elements and weather, enough to oppose Storm or Thor. However, Dracula is severely weakened for an extended period of time afterward.

    Mind Control: A person bitten by Dracula is able to be influenced by him through a sort of empathic link. Only beings of exceptionally strong wills are capable of resisting him.

    Dracula is an accomplished swordsman and magician. He possesses a gifted intellect.

    Physical Strength

    Dracula can lift approximately 4 tons.

    Weaknesses

    Dracula, like all vampires, has a number of special vulnerabilities. His greatest weakness, like that of other vampires, is that he must ingest about one quart of fresh blood in order to maintain his vitality. Otherwise, his powers will steadily decrease to the point where he enters a comatose state. Dracula is highly allergic to silver and can be severely injured, or killed, with silver weaponry. If Dracula is injured by silver, his recovery time is considerably slower than normal. Dracula can be killed by having a wooden stake plunged into his heart, somehow interrupting the mystical energies that keep him alive. Dracula can also be killed by being decapitated and being exposed to fire. Dracula can also be affected by religious icons, such as the Star of David or a crucifix for example. Dracula is affected by the strength of the wielder's faith in the icon and religion it represents, not the size of the icon itself. Dracula must rest within his coffin during daylight hours. He must line his coffin with soil from his homeland in order to both sustain his power and travel more than 100 miles from his birthplace.
    Dracula used to be unable to withstand exposure to direct sunlight, since it would instantly dry up his skin and eventually crumble his body to powder within a matter of minutes. After transferring Wolverine's blood to his body, Dracula got rid of this specific weakness.[10]


    Skills
    Flying: Dracula has the ability to fly without jetpacks or similar technology. Hovering or keeping up with the Falcon and its flight speed pose no problems whatsoever.
    Teleportation skills
    Vampire bite: With a vampire bite, he can adopt other people and mortals to use them or to turn them into full vampires themselves. Blade is known to have been bitten by Dracula and become a "half-vampire" while Black Widow was in the process of becoming a vampire.
    As a result, he is also able to copy and use the skills of others in the event of a bite.
    Manipulative abilities: Through magic and his shadows he can conjure up solid objects, lock doors and is able to control thoughts.
    Immortality: Dracula, being already a being of the underworld, cannot die, but can only be weakened. He regains strength with blood pumped through his body.
    Self-healing: Through the attribute of being immortal, this also gives him the ability to heal his wounds quickly.
    Sunlight: Sunlight weakens Dracula and so he either only receives his full strength in the dead of night or he wanders around in the shadows of buildings.

    Deacon Frost possesses all of the typical vulnerabilities common to vampires.

If he were to go for a long period of time without feeding, Frost will steadily weaken until he eventually suffers a kind of second death.

For some unknown reason, the stake prevents the various mystical energies that empower a vampire from circulating through his body. However, removal of the stake from King will result in his immediate return to life.[16]

    Powers and Abilities

    Powers

    All vampires share common superhuman abilities regardless of whether they were born a vampire, or were once human and were subsequently turned into a vampire. The only exceptions are vampire offshoots, such as half-vampires and those who are carriers of the Reaper Strain.
    Nomak being patient zero of the reaper strain, his vampiric powers have all been dramatically increased and most of the hereditary weaknesses have been removed.

    Vampirism: Vampirism is the physiological act of becoming and/or turning another human being into a vampire. Despite its roots in European folklore, vampirism exists in nature, and there are many such creatures who are actually born as vampires. Pathologically, vampirism is likened to a virus, carried in the saliva of predators. The vampire enzyme is carried through a victim's bloodstream and within seventy-two hours, mutates the subject's physiology, creating new parasitic organs. It has been described as "cancer with a purpose". Reaper vampires have had their blood lust dramatically increased, treating it as a drug addict would. As a new strain of vampirism they are also capable off infecting ordinary vampires as well as humans, the infection has been accelerated to the point where they turn in the space of a few minutes.

    Immortality: Vampires are immortal creatures whose bodies cease to physically age beyond a certain point. Pure-blood vampires will age into adulthood, while turned vampires maintain the physical form they had when they were still human. Theoretically, a vampire can live forever providing that it is not destroyed.

    Metamorphosis: Vampires possess a limited degree of metamorphosis or the ability to shape-shift. Unlike the creatures of popular fiction, vampires cannot transform into bats, or wolves or mist. A vampire can only alter his appearance into one of two forms: a vampire's natural form is that of an inhuman, monstrous creature, with exaggerated facial features, sharp canine fangs, claws and blood-red eyes. With a sufficient supply of blood in their bodies, vampires can alter their appearance to make themselves resemble normal humans. In the case of turned vampires, they look as they did prior to becoming a vampire. This is a useful tool, as it enables a vampire to operate amongst humans without giving itself away. While assuming a human mien, a vampire may voluntarily reveal slight vampiric features, such as fangs or red eyes. Reaper vampires possess albino white skin and red eyes at all times. They have segmented jaws that open laterally to form a powerful gripping apparatus, and a mutated leech-like tongue muscle with barbed tendrils at the end.

    Superhuman Strength: Most vampires possess superhuman physical strength anywhere from 10 to 20 times greater than they possessed in their mortal lives. The vast majority of known and recorded vampires are capable of lifting from 1,000 lbs to 4,000 lbs. A vampire's enhanced strength also enables them to perform other superhuman feats such as leaping great distances. Supplementing their strength, vampires are naturally heartier than normal humans and can withstand severe physical exertion with no ill effects. Reapers appear to have a marginal advantage over vampires in power-to-weight ratio, although due to their emaciation their full potential is never realized. Nomak however, does not carry this deficiency and is noticeably stronger than most vampires.

    Superhuman Durability: With the exception of certain restrictions, vampires are essentially invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm, including the effects of disease, and the natural cellular mitosis that comes with ageing. Vampires are not living creatures, and as such, they do not require oxygen to breathe. Vampires can exist without undue stress in oxygen free environments such as being submerged under water or buried beneath the earth. Excessive force will cause physical damage to a vampire, but their bodies will regenerate damaged tissue providing they can supplement themselves with regular supplies of blood. Reapers are considerably tougher still, and have been capable of surviving a full penetration of the torso through the abdomen and sliced down through the groin without succumbing to pain and barely being slowed by the trauma. A severed piece of head was still able to blink an eye and a reaper corpse even demonstrated an attempt to absorb blood that was introduced to it.

    Superhuman Reflexes: A vampire's reflexes, agility and reaction time are many times greater than a normal human being. At maximum optimal capacity, a vampire can move more quickly than the human eye can perceive. As Patient Zero of the Reaper Strain, Nomak possesses greater endurance and the ability to think and communicate that the other Reapers did not possess; he was also able to control his hunger, to the point where he passed up an easy opportunity to feed on Whistler where the average Reaper would have just torn his throat out.

    Abilities

    Intelligence: Unlike most Reapers, who regress to a feral mentality upon transformation, Jared still retained his original level of intelligence, able to make plans, adopt an almost philosophical perspective on his transformation, and control his hunger, to the point that he offered Blade an alliance and spared Whistler to deliver a message to Blade where any other Reaper would have simply torn Whistler's throat out.

    Expert Hand to Hand Combatant: While he lacked any kind of formal combat training, Jared was shown on multiple occasions to be an extremely ferocious fighter, easily capable of overwhelming skilled fighters like Blade, who was a highly skilled martial arts master. Jared's fighting style seems like a combination of street fighting and wrestling, relying on his brute strength and almost animal like ferocity to overwhelm his opponent.

    Weaknesses

    Despite the fact most of the hereditary weaknesses have been removed, Jared Nomak was still concerned by the following weaknesses:

    Hematophagia: Vampires require the consumption of human blood for nourishment and to maintain their existence. The required dosage of blood per vampire depends upon their overall strength and vitality, though most vampires need to feed at least once per evening. Older, more powerful vampires will sometimes require more blood than lesser vampires in order to maintain their health. The most common form of extraction is by biting a human victim upon the neck, usually on the jugular vein where the blood is freshest. Failure to consume human blood at regular intervals may produce a variety of effects. Vampires may suffer a loss of vitality and cohesion and they will find it more difficult to maintain a human mien. If enough time has passed without nourishment, a vampire may enter a "blood frenzy" wherein they will act on primal instinct and take what they need from the closest available source, regardless of the consequences. Most Reapers will begin to burn out if deprived of blood for a few hours, with Blade and the Bloodpack speculating that the Reapers will die out twelve hours after they are created, Nomak only surviving so long due to his status as the original Reaper.

    Ultraviolet Radiation: The vampire's greatest enemy is the power of the sun. Minimal exposure is known to cause great discomfort, even pain, but direct exposure to ultraviolet radiation is instantly fatal. Vampires are at their most vulnerable during daylight hours, and must sequester themselves in environments completely cut off from all natural light sources. When exposed to direct UV radiation, a vampire's body will blister, burn and disintegrate into ash within seconds. Nomak has a higher tolerance for UV radiation than normal vampires, although he is not immune to its effects and will quickly blister and burn when subjected to it.

    EDTA: Short for ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, EDTA is an anti-coagulant that reacts explosively to vampire physiology. Like silver nitrate and garlic extract, EDTA can be weaponized and used as a reliable offensive measure against vampires. While this proves lethal to normal vampires, it merely results in an agonizing and temporary infection when injected into Nomak. He has demonstrated the ability to recover from the effects in seconds.

    It's too soon to do this for this year BUT Asian Appreciation Month is normally in May. What I would sugggest is introduce Silk and Luna Snow May 2023
