Every time u face an awakened 6* Namor or Cull in AW u will wonder if it was earned or from a mistake that's costing u health pots or units to take down.
Is it bad that I don’t even know if I got back a dupe I was supposed to or not. I had used a gem on cull just to test him out. Sold him cause he has no use in my roster. I think I pulled him while he was sold but I am not sure. Got the gem back and he is duped now. If they take back the dupe I don’t even know if it’s right or not, but to be honest I really don’t care either way

Because as we all know, Cull and Namor are the hardest defenders in the game... Mate, if you use ressources in AW to fight a Cull or a Namor, then you have other things to worry about
It is beyond imagination that some people say “kabam should leave it that way”. Do you know what means a 6* star namor and 20 sig for gift at a 6 star? Not only as a player is amazing but he is also top prestige so problem at AQ ranks.
If someone had a 6 star namor unduped and took 6* namor duped he should wait before use those resources.
And those who did sell their champion because they were unhappy with him or simply made a tactical decision should suffer because you decided that you were fine with keeping the champion as he is? Pretty selfish
Sorry to tell you but i also sell my namor and my cull both sig 200 rank 5. And i took exactly what i gave. What makes you so special that you can have one champ that you don’t had duped when you make the same action with me? It is not about you & me its about the game. So if you want to be the clever guy here, the solution is if you keep your resources then every summoner at the game should receive an extra namor & cull in any rarity (3*,4*,5*,6*). Selfish is that you want to keep something that you didn’t had and everyone else should stay happy with nothing.
Again: If someone decided to keep their Namor or Cull, that means that they were happy with how they performed. Those who did not sell a Cull/Namor or who did not have them did not loose anything. If someone gifted you 5000€ today, would you say "No, I did not work for that while others did. Take it away from me!!"? I simply said that the easiest solution is to just don´t do anything, and I have my reasons. By the way: I did not sell either of my champions and still think that it does not hurt those who were not affected, or at least it does not even come close to equaling the and joy those who did sell their champions got. I personally would not be mad if Kabam simply kept the situation as it is.
So once more. If you are going to an ATM at your bank and the guy before you left 500$ without taking them , that gives you the opportunity to take those money and spend them? No, thats makes you thief. No one gifted to you anything. Your extra champs is product of a mistake, and there are two ways to rebalance it: 1. Take those champs back and give you back the resources you spend. 2. Give everyone in the community the same they gave to you: one extra god tier champ.
Nobody stole the champ from Kabam either buddy. Who is negatively affected by this "mistake"? Neither those who did not have the champ nor those who actively decided to not sell their champ are affected negatively in any way. The solution to just not do anything exists, you simply don´t like it. That´s a huge difference
The negatively affected people are those who will get jumped in prestige by those given an awakened high prestige champ.
Those alliances who care about prestige on that level will not be held back by one champion. They probably already have other champs for prestige like Doom or Surfer. Plus, in order to get that champ to the prestige that is needed you still need to put in your own Sig Stones that Kabam did not give you.
Almost every single alliance in the game cares about prestige, show me a recruitment poster/advertisement without a minimum requirement, doesn’t matter if it’s 1 point or 100 points someone will be negatively affected by it.

Just move on guys, this mistake is way too big for kabam to give out for free or to not rectify. 6* still amongst the hardest to dupe even if you spend, and if you hate the mini nerf and sold cull and namor you shouldn't be upset about kabam taking away their dupes that was never yours in the first place.

Double 10k shards is not the same as duped 5* or 6* Namor lol. if people who accidentally got given dupes are given 10k 5* shards and their dupes taken away I wouldn't mind so much. But i'm pretty sure they would still not be happy because it means potentially a 5* Kamala Khan being pulled rather than guaranteed Namor.
But duped namor 5* or 6* does impact very negatively on AQ results. We place top 500 playing maps 5-6 so prestige is important to us as we do not want to do map 7. And yes, there are quite a few of my ally members who sold namor's and got back dupes so possibly we may have jumped up slightly in position; which then isn't fair to other allies.

That would be very kind of you. Unfortunately there would be some with duped Namor's stating they'd rather get back undupe Namor and get another gem. And the circle of arguements/trolling would continue.
Either way I feel bad for everyone concerned (people who don't even have Namor and now possibly upset cos if they had and sold then would've gotten dupe, people who sold and got dupe now to be taken away, people that didn't sell and wish they'd sold to get back dupe, and Kabam mod's tryna keep everyone calm in here).

I’ll believe it when I see it, it’s going to be even more complaints from people who used a gem on him then when they got it back and he was duped used it on someone else. They will probably backtrack saying it’s too much work to go case by case to see who did what and just leave it all alone. It won’t be the first time they let people keep exploited rewards. Last boss rush people ran several times and got to keep all the extra shards because of a similar explanation. Only time will tell but their track record indicates nothing will be changed.

The only impact for me is whether or not I have to somehow come up with 19 signature stones that I have already repurposed elsewhere.

Taking away the extra champ is the correct thing to do IF Kabam can do it in a timely manner and correctly. That's the big issue I have. Ppl have already been without these champs for almost a month. It's not right to drag it out another month trying to fix all he mistakes that have been made.

I can't think of one time the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc... has ever once said "oh wait, we made a bad call that could have impacted the result of the "Super World Stanley Cup Bowl".. let's retract this season/year and start over, stripping all titles, medals, rings, trophies, and money paid to the players so we can do it over."
For those of you non sports fans, this happens far more regularly than it honestly should, yet very seldomly is the winner stripped of the win, and never have they ever replayed an entire season for a single call.
@Kabam Miike so since a bunch of players essentially got a free 6* namor just for selling theirs is the rest of the community going to get a free 6* namor. I mean seems the only fair way to balance it
That's not the only way to balance it. Unfortunately, we're likely going to be removing the Extra Dupes that you weren't meant to receive.
So how’s that going to work in cases where players have already used sig stones on a otherwise unduped Namor. In my case for instance I got Namor twice in the mail + an awakening gem. Now I know for sure that I used a mutant awakening gem on him when I pulled him from a featured crystal, took me a while (couple of months) to get him to max sig. As for the second Namor, I honestly can’t remember if I pulled him a 2nd time during those months. But if I didn’t you would be taking of 20 sig stones of my now yet again max sig Namor, who would basically be unduped............like 🤔

Literally the second one in the Alliance Recruitment Tab. Just because you care about Prestige does not mean everyone does. Only the Top alliances do
