I'm not looking for rankup advice. Just wanted to know other peeps awakening opinions. Like Seatin has his own awakening tier list.

I don't think IMIW needs it unless for defense but then again, I don't do much war. CMM has a nice to have awakening but not necessary. I respect your list tho!

Take away CMM and IMIW, add Scarlett Witch and I think that's a generic-worthy list.

Different perspective: this isn't a question about who deserves to be Awakened; but who benefits most from it.

So whilst champs like Ghost, Colossus, CMM and Hyperion definitely are great champs when Awakened (and deserve to get Awakened, if you have the choice), they're already very useable without it. Whereas a low-tier champ like Ronan goes from cheap Thor knock-off to niche boss-killer when he's Awakened. So he benefits more.

Similarly, Vulture goes from barely useable to actually useful.

On that basis, I'd say Star Lord benefits more than almost anyone from his Awakened ability; which takes him from an average bench-filler to an awesome God-killer, who dominated the 'best champion' list for years.

Really the only other champ in this race is Aegon. However he starts stronger than SL does, as he can utilise many of his abilities in a long fight without being Awakened. So for me, Aegon being Awakened takes him from above-average bench-filler to awesome God-Killer. So personally I'd give this one to Star-Lord (just); but it's definitely between the two of them.

we should mention that champs not only benefits from being awaken, but also from high sig level...

Ex: medusa and Hyperion benefits from being awaken

OR and Aegon benefits from being awaken, but needs high sig level

Aegon - He goes from a borderline unusable champ to arguably the best champion in the game.

Honorable Mentions

Starlord - Similar to Aegon but he lacks the utility that Aegon’s awakened ability provides him.

Nick Fury - Arguably just a valuable as Aegon, Nick goes from average to elite

Dr. Voodoo - The power of his loas and regeneration once he’s awakened are truly amazing

Captain America IW - Obviously he needs a high signature level but his awakening provides so much utility.
