With that roster, of course those fights would be hard. You have to make sure you are at the appropriate level to take those on.

With class specific lanes, that gives you a starting point of how to set up your team.

You're playing on Epic difficulty. If you can't reliably intercept, then that's on you. It doesn't matter if it's a side event or not. It's still the highest difficulty, so complaining about the content being "too difficult" when it can be completed with some skill just shows your work ethic.
