I think a problem that’s occurring now is kabam is trying to balance rewards between cavalier (and above) players and uncollected players which obviously leads to a middle ground difficulty that will be too easy for endgame players and possibly too difficult for new uncollected played
Uncollected folks should realize that just because you're UC doesn't mean you're ready for epic. Getting uncollected is one thing, but doesn't mean you can take on the next level. There's still progression in order to play at the epic levels for most people.
I did 4 epic run today. Frankly I don’t think it is harder than Act 6. 6 paths are class-based and you can choose yours freely, so if you can’t pass through Vision, then maybe pick another class path next time.
Rating is misleading, difficulty mainly came from node buffs. RoL champs got higher rating but definitely less difficult than Act 6.
The champs aren’t hidden you can see every champ on the path before taking it, so you should have known vision aarkus was there and still choose to take that path, so it’s your fault and you shouldn’t be complaining.
Is nobody going to point out that he's taking 3 Tech champs on the Cosmic path?!?!?
Well, it became obvious that you don't know how to fight Vision Aarkus yet. It's fine, you could just had picked a different path and avoid that fight. You also don't seem to know how difficult act 6 is, and how much more it becomes in the latest chapters. If you want to compare Vision Aarkus, there is one or two there with more difficult nodes, 10k+ attack and nearly 300k HP. It makes the Vision Aarkus on the labs to look like an act 5 fight.

Shhhhhhh let us point out their flaws for the BWCV fight that should have been a 1-shot before we dig into other bad decisions.

I got Cavalier with my roster as a free to play player so you can't go in that hard on me
I’m not going to comment on your abilities as a player, but dear god if you think that’s harder than Act 6 you are going to be shocked when you hit 6.2. I mean, my god, 9k attack isn’t fun but I’ll take it over the 12k-15k attack in 6.3/4

It means that I didn't buy my way to cavalier with cash to me so

I'm 100% F2P, cavalier and don't find the hotel difficult at all!
Being cavalier doesn't mean you're ready to take on the harder challenges. The team you brought in was CLEARLY inefficient against the path YOU chose! F2P doesn't matter, but intelligent choices do!

Alright I can respect that and btw congratulations on getting cavalier as a f2p player btw!

Well obviously your decision-making skills need to improve.
I agree that getting Cavalier as a F2P isn't easy. Hell, I'm F2P too, and it was hard at first.
Point is, reading and making the right strategic decisions based on your roster is important. You just completely glanced over all the champion's abilities. Furthermore, you could've chosen another path, which would've been the better choice, since more than half of your team had the class disadvantage.
"Getting good" isn't just about skill. Yes, it's partly about that. For example, you said that Aarkus demolished you through your block. Then just intercept.
"Getting good" is also about strategical moves based on your roster. I see what you're saying about the difficulty, but on the other hand, blaming Kabam for your strategical failures is just foolish.

Alright man I respect your opinion and thank you for the advice
Can we please assume the Vision path was the least bad for the OP? Anyone playing Epic knows how the game works. or at least be consistent with your negativity. In one post, you say his roster isn't good enough, in another it's his skills.
I think the frustration is that Epic is supposed to be similar to Act 5 difficulty. The nodes in MODOK labs often push the difficulty way beyond that.
Endgamers should be upset that Kabam has ignored their needs for so long. Instead, they vent their anger on fellow players and make the world just a little bit worse every day.
Act 6 opponents are way more harder to fight against than opponents in Modok's Lab. And you are comparing 2x scenarios with 2x different champions with different nodes. What's your point with that?
Mate look at the attack rating on that Vision Aarkus the man chews through my block
Then don't block LMAO.
You are an absolute genius bro. Your right we should all just get hit

To all guys who are hard on the OP. His team actually is a team an uncollected player would have. When we became Uncollected we had maxed 4 stars and maybe 2 or 3 rank 4 5 stars if you were in a top alliance, or became uncollected later. Epic is unlocked at uncollected. The opponents should be act 5 level. 20k PI max. With exception of the boss. I`m cavalier myself so have no problem with this content. But it is becoming more and more obvious they are using epic/uncollected to cater to cavalier players, and leave uncollected players in a black spot, where they can only complete master difficulty, and not the next level up. Unless you have a stacked roster of r4 5* or above this event quest is very bad.
@Denslo500, where are you getting the idea that Epic should be similar to Act 5? Being the highest difficulty, I'd expect it to be similar to Cavalier, or earlier Act 6 level.
At the end of the day, it is clear the OP, no matter how good he is, didn't bring the right champs into the side event.
OP: since you've reached Cavalier, you clearly have at least some decent 5* or 6* champs. Build a team that can particularly focus on taking down a specific class lane, and yes, you'll need a bit of luck in who shows up in that lane when you enter the event. But I have taken down multiple runs on Epic in both my main account and secondary account, and in general find it a reasonable balance of difficulty. It's a challenge, but hardly unfair. And definitely, overall, much more palatable than Act 6, at least anything beyond 6.1.

Yeah I'm gonna have to find a replacement for my Domino in AQ since I'll be trying for the skill path next time and hopefully I don't get a stacked korg to go against

Blaming your shortcomings on Kabam, along with including evidence that is biased isn't going to magically make you able to complete difficult content.
Like @Demonzfyre said before, "Git gud".
