What’s a passive?

If a champion is passively bleed immune , then no external medium can cause him to bleed -- Because this is his default feature.
Now sometimes you will see a buff icon on top of the champion , examples-
Passive armour buff after sentinel's special 3, also after armour charges are converted to an armour buff on heimdall.
Dr Doom can passively stun you if you have a shock debuff on you. This is a passive stun.
There are also some champs with passive unstoppable I believe like the Champion
A passive stun cannot be stopped unless you are stun immune or debuff immune.
Not sure about armour though , they can be nullified and also sometimes some nodes are able to nullify these passive effects as well.
Source: Beating debuff immune nodes in war with Doom, as well as Taskmaster.
That's simple.
Just read this.
Mysterio can heal block Kang in V2 or 3 since Mysterios heal block is passive.
Symbiote Supreme can stagger opponents on debuff immune nodes.
Wasp/Doom can stun on debuff immune nodes.
All these are passive abilities.
