Should people still grind for 5* in Arena?

“When have I ever said I was "average"?”

When someone asks is anyone who grinds for a feature is an average player/grinder and the response is that you fall into that category, that to me is you asserting you fit into that average category (which you do not).

You have a lot of experience with arena mercs? My only experience has been second hand where they get their clients banned.

Personally? No, none, but I'd be lying if I said I don't know plenty of people that do.
The only one’s I’ve known end up with a ban which removes them from the equation.

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
    Sure if you say so

I know so, a couple of times an alliance I’m in failed to complete lanes has been due to mercing. You can also find documentation on the BBB’s website where complaints about being banned are answered with Kabam saying the ban was the result of tos violations relating to the arenas.

The fact that we don't have a 6 star arena now or 5 star basic is weird. You all are just conservatives in nature. We need to move forward with the game. Stagnation is what made everyone complain to bring about the change we just got.

Imagine thinking 5*s are already irrelevant...
best save all your resources for 7*s or even 8*s if you’re that worried.

They are for me I have 30 r5 covering every situation, no point ranking up more I have completed all content so focusing on 6 stars. Have 10 r2 or higher and more on the way.
I have just as many R5s and more R2/R3s, that's still ridiculous. Any champ that heavily relies on their sig is better as a 5* right now.

@Worknprogress which new champs are worth high sig that have come out this year besides mojo which i have at r5. Maybe red guardian, I am sure a champ will come out that requires it but there have been very few champs that are game changing this year.

Red guardian, Sorcerer (increased ability accuracy helps a lot with Dominos in war), and Guardian will benefit as well.

I didn’t go through the entire discussion, but technically if a more desirable arena was added, people who have those “100 6*s” would shift gears and go after that one, in turn reducing the 5* cutoffs. I know the OP didn’t articulate that at all, but that’s the one way I see a 6* arena helping smaller players (by drawing the “whales” away)

It's possible but I don't think that's how it would work exactly. Most of those people aren't the ones going for featured 5*s anyway do aren't even affecting the current arenas. What I said I think would happen is that those people would all of a sudden be interested enough to actually jump into the arena and it would be massively one sided in the scores achievable
